I am a new practitioner, who acquired the Fa in March 2003. The changes that have occurred in my body, and my philosophy toward life are beyond imagination. Since 1995 I have suffered from thyroid imbalances, which caused my eyes to bulge. Now they are normal. The backaches that bothered me for many years are all gone. My hereditary throat problem has disappeared. All my family and neighbors say that I look much healthier. More importantly, I used to be a gambler who played Mahjong all day long. My desire to gamble disappeared altogether after I began my cultivation. I have no interest in even watching people play Mahjong any more. From the bottom of my heart I thank Master, who brought us this fortune that one cannot find in millions of years.

1.) In Singapore, practitioners heard that over a thousand Chinese tourists would visit the Shengtausha Musical Fountain and DFC Duty-Free Shop on Wujie Road. We divided ourselves into two groups: one for Shengtausha and the other for the duty-free shop. Chinese tourists began to arrive at around 5:30 p.m. A tour guide said loudly, "Falun Gong is good. The members in our group know the facts already." One tourist encouraged us to keep up the good work. Some appeared to have not seen any Falun Gong practitioners before and were surprised. Some said jokingly: "Falun Gong is everywhere."

2.) The activities of suing Jiang that Canadian practitioners initiated are progressing swiftly around the country. Following the receipt of information mailed by the Canadian Falun Dafa Association to thousands of attorneys, many experienced attorneys indicated their willingness to handle the case. A western Canadian law firm that has handled many China-related cases said: "It will be a great honor for us to handle the case for suing Jiang." A famous human rights attorney in central Canada offered many suggestions to the Falun Dafa Association on how to stop the persecution, and even pointed out the article references in Canadian law.

Ming Bao News on September 4 reported that Falun Gong practitioners appealed to the superior court in Hong Kong, appealing the case of their being fined for meditating on the sidewalk. Sixteen local and Swedish Falun Gong practitioners meditated in front of the China Liaison Authorities Building in March of last year. They were carried away by the police and later convicted of blocking traffic and assaulting the police. The superior court heard the case yesterday. The attorney for the defendant said that the sidewalk was very wide in front of the China Liaison Authorities Building, and practitioners did not block any traffic.
