Finnish practitioners recently held an SOS Tour, visiting different cities in eastern Finland to introduce Falun Dafa and let people know the facts about the brutal persecution. This persecution has now lasted four years and the instigator, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, is facing lawsuits in numerous countries for his crimes against humanity. During this SOS Tour, practitioners had some great opportunities to tell people about the legal process to bring Jiang to justice. In some of the cities they visited, people had never seen Falun Dafa before and were supportive. In every city, a journalist from the local newspaper came to report on the activity and practitioners appeared on the front page of the following day's paper. Local TV also came to interview practitioners in the city of Tampere. Here is a short report from the Newspaper Uudenkaupungin Sanomat.

The Issue of Human Rights in China was brought up in the Market Place

Five Falun Gong practitioners attracted people in the market place of Uusikaupunki on Tuesday. The group brought human rights issues to the city.

[One Finnish practitioner] explained that Falun Gong, consisting of gentle movements and spiritual principles, has been banned in China since 1999. The decision to outlaw the practice was made by the former president of China, Jiang Zemin. The number of practitioners exceeded the number in the communist party, and Jiang felt it was a threat to his personal power.

Practitioners spread information about Falun Gong and about the cruel human rights abuses that target practitioners in China. They collected signatures on a petition to end the persecution.
