(Clearwisdom.net July 26, 2003) Falun Gong practitioners from Central and Northern Germany assembled in Berlin on July 20 to mark four years of persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese government. The President of the International Human Rights Association made a speech at the assembly to express his support for the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin for his crimes against humanity. The following is the audio report of Tian Yi, the special correspondent of Radio Free Asia in Germany:
On July 20 four years ago, the Chinese government launched the persecution of Falun Gong. July 20, 2003 happened to be a Sunday. Falun Gong practitioners around Europe held activities to commemorate the victims and to protest against the persecution. On July 19 and 20, that is, Saturday and Sunday, Falun Gong practitioners assembled in Berlin to protest against the persecution. Miss Zheng Zhi Hong, from Chekiang University, was responsible for organising this mass assembly. On Sunday under the scorching sun, Miss Zheng introduced the activity to a Radio Free Asia reporter.

Then she continued to introduce the activities held by Falun Gong practitioners in Germany.

In his speech, the President once again strongly asked China to stop this barbaric and inhumane persecution and to release all the detained Falun Gong practitioners. Considering the situations in Germany and in Europe, he also asked China's overseas diplomatic organisations to stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners outside China. As for the overseas persecution, the president said the International Human Rights Association will help the Falun Gong practitioners to take any effective legal action.
