The Swiss News Agency (ATS) reported the following on July 12th.

On July 12th, over 50 Falun Gong practitioners gathered on Federal Square in Bern to protest the persecution of their fellow practitioners by the Chinese government.

Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland and all over the world are preparing to file lawsuits against the former Chinese leader, Jiang Zemin.

Kyeia, one of the organizers of the appeal, told the reporter, "Though Jiang retired from his leadership this March, he still controls the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China."

Worldwide Falun Dafa Associations have prepared to file lawsuits against the former Chinese leader for his brutal persecution, genocide and crimes against humanity. Kyeia explained, "After the lawsuits are processed, Jiang will be subpoenaed to appear in court once he steps on to the territory of Switzerland." In America, the lawsuit against Jiang had already been submitted to the court last October.

The Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the appeal put a big wreath at the Federal Square to mourn for the victims of the persecution. In silence they then approached the Chinese embassy.

Falun Gong, a cultivation method with millions of practitioners, was outlawed in China in 1999. Since then, Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to arrests and persecution by the Chinese authorities.
