Facts of the Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioners in Xuchang City, Henan Province Mr. and Mrs. Huang Jihong, who are both in their 50s, were illegally abducted while their home was being searched at the beginning of June. They were detained in the Xuchang City Detention Center. Huang Jihong's life was in danger after being on hunger strike for more than ten days. Police were afraid of taking responsibility and sent Huang Jihong home. Mr. and Mrs. Niu Liang, who are both Falun Dafa practitioners, were abducted during illegal search of their home on June 11, and are detained in the Xuchang City Detention Center. At the end of June, Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Yanxin (over 60 years old), was abducted during an illegal home search on June 11, and is being detained at the Xuchang City Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Jiangcheng from Batou Village, Houshi Town, Yanshi City, Henan Province has been continuously persecuted by Jiang's evil gang because he does not want to give up his belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." They took away his personal property worth more than 100 thousand Yuan*, and occupied his house. After his unlawful term at the labor camp in 2002 expired and he was allowed to go home, the vicious "610 Office"** Director Han Guoqing broke into his home at night and abducted him three times. His family members are also being persecuted. In March 2003, the authorities abducted him and kept him in a brainwashing class for more than forty days.

*Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.

The following is an excerpt from the article "Such a good person still exists in this day and age?"

I picked up a bag on the way to work on June 2003. Inside was 700 Yuan in cash, an ID card, phone numbers, etc. I called the person, and asked him to come and get his stuff. The next day, he drove to my home from far away. He said, "I am shocked to see such a good person still exists in this day and age. I would truly like to meet such a person." My mother told him the facts about Falun Dafa. He smiled, and said, "I know Falun Dafa is good. I will tell this to people when I go home. I want my friends and family all to know about Falun Dafa practitioners' good deeds." There was a big crowd in front of my home. One neighbor heard my mother clarify the truth, and said many disrespectful words about Dafa in front of the crowd. Two days later, she found my mother and said, "I should not say anything disrespectful to Dafa. My legs are in pain and I cannot walk. I know that I have done wrong."

Ph.D. Student Wang Weiyu from Qinghua University was abducted on August 12, 2002 by police, no one knows his whereabouts. His family members are terribly worried about him. His brother-in-law Li Guoqiang, who is a Ph. D. candidate at the University of Cincinnati, urgently calls on the media, government agencies and society to please help secure the release of Wang Weiyu.

In 1992, Teacher Li Hongzhi started spreading Falun Dafa to the world in China. This is the genuine Buddha Law. Many people have reaped the benefits of practicing Falun Gong. Out of personal jealousy, Jiang Zemin could not stand how much Falun Gong was loved by the people. No matter how good Dafa is, he insists on this bloody persecution. None of the persecutors in human history have met with good endings. The truth cannot be covered up, and deceptive means can only last momentarily. The truth is sure to be revealed in its entirety to the human world.
