Truth About Persecution

The Huaying County (City) Military Brigade in Guangan City, Sichuan Province held a so-called "Legal Education School," which is actually a brainwashing center. They abducted a dozen Dafa practitioners and sent them to the brainwashing center. Two thugs watch every practitioner who was detained in solitary confinement. They were forced to watch daily Dafa-slandering TV programs. Determined Dafa practitioners were brutally beaten and tortured. Everyday, outside the school, one could hear the screams from Dafa practitioners who were being beaten.

Practitioners Exchange Insights

Starting from myself and upholding the purity of Dafa: recently, some fellow practitioners added some new gestures to the ones we use when sending forth righteous thoughts. They argued that "we can do whatever" to eliminate the evil. The Fa has strict requirements for doing Dafa exercises, sending forth righteous thoughts and studying the Fa, and practitioners should never alter those. Master said, "You should never do what I don't allow you to. The desire to show off plus the attachment of zealotry are most easily exploited by the demonic part of your mind." ["Definitive Conclusion"] What's worse, some practitioners with their celestial eye open look at other practitioners to see if they are being interfered with by the evil old forces. I hope all practitioners can start from themselves and uphold the purity of Dafa. Don't cause loss because we didn't do well toward the end. Let us start with ourselves and eliminate this interference from within us.

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

The cultivation story of an elder practitioner: Ms. Chun Qing, 58 years old, with an elementary education, lives in Hunan Province. Before practicing Dafa, she suffered from many illnesses. After she began to practice all illnesses disappeared. After July 20, 1999, Chun Qing went to Beijing three times to validate Dafa with righteous thoughts. The government's persecution and her family's blame made living in her environment difficult. However, she took time to clarify the truth and save people. On March 1, 2002, she was arrested when distributing truth clarification flyers, was brutally tortured and sent to a labor camp. During the detention she held a hunger strike and was force-fed. She was determined. Half a year later she left the labor camp in an open and dignified manner.

After July 20, 1999, evil thugs interfered with their practice site, but the group practice had never stopped. Now, the environment has been rectified and the practitioners are doing the exercises and studying the Fa out in the open. They clarify the truth about Dafa to everyone they see. Dafa banners and phrases are all over the practice site, and no one dares to take them down.

Participants in a Monday conference at the renowned The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. commented on Tung Chee-Hwa's postponement of ratifying the Article 23 legislation. Dr. Feinerman expressed that the Hong Kong people have reason to be afraid of Article 23 legislation, precisely because they see what is happening in Mainland China. He also believed that Tung Chee-Hwa is not up to the task, while the leaders of the Chinese government's persecution against dissidents and organizations, including Falun Gong, go against the rules of civilized society.
