We first need to study Fa well in order to validate Dafa. I got rid of my medicine bottles during 3-years of cultivation. My husband had to respect the power of Dafa just for this change. But he always thought that we were interfering with the internal affairs of China by clarifying the truth to others about the persecution. Moreover, because of my eagerness, I could not properly allocate time between my personal life and truth clarification, which evoked a negative attitude from my husband. I felt it was a big pity that he could not cultivate. I kept looking inside and found out that it was because I did not study the Fa enough. Although I spent most of the time clarifying the truth over the Internet, it was not effective. I decided to read carefully one chapter of Zhuan Falun every day. During that time I felt much calmer. When SARS spread in Hong Kong my husband was concerned. I read Essentials to Further Advancement II to him. After reading many of the articles he finally understood the importance of clarifying the truth. The next morning he even told me that he wanted to watch the tapes of Master's lectures. Several days later he finished reading the nine chapters and learned the 5 sets of exercises. One day he said: "Zhuan Falun is much better to read than the news!" At night after practicing meditation he would remind me to send forth righteous thoughts!

Facts of the Persecution

Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province: Falun Gong practitioner Gao Enhua was sent for one year of forced labor in February 2001 for handing out truth-clarification materials. She was released in April 2002, but within a month she was detained at the Second Detention Center and remains there to date. Falun Gong practitioner Zhao Hezhi was arrested at her home in July 2001 by police from the Xinhua Police Station. It has been almost two years and no one knows her whereabouts. Falun Gong practitioner Su Yan and many other practitioners are still detained and persecuted at the Third Prison of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.

News and Activities Around the World

To celebrate the 11^th Anniversary of the Introduction of Falun Dafa to the World, a Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held in Vancouver, Canada. Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver finally fulfilled their wish. Ten days before the conference, the location was still not confirmed and the application for the parade was facing a 15,000 Canadian dollar fee. Practitioners in Vancouver thought it over as one body from the perspective of the Fa and broke through many layers of interference. They were able to rent the most favorable meeting place. The parade was undertaken without costing a single cent. The day before the Fa conference it was cloudy and drizzling. As thousands of Falun Gong practitioners were doing the sitting meditation the weather gradually cleared. For the next three days it was sunny. Some locals remarked: it is rare to have such a good weather!

News from China

A Falun Gong practitioner was illegally arrested and detained by an administrative office of the Chinese government when he was spreading truth clarifying VCD's in an area of Beijing. His case was about to be publicized as an important case. Jiang's vicious political group has a strong national propaganda machine at its disposal. Why are they so afraid of VCDs or flyers telling the truth about Falun Gong? In summary they are afraid of the truth and that people will discover how vicious they really are.
