[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Four Dafa Practitioners Are Sentenced to 13 to 14 Years of Imprisonment
On September 28, 2002, the Malanzi Dafa materials production site in Dalian City was destroyed. Four practitioners were arrested, and they are being detained at the Yaojia Detention Center. One of them, Mr. Xu Zhibin, had been reported to police for distributing truth-clarifying materials. He was sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment. Mr. Chen Xin and two other practitioners, one male and one female, were sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment. These practitioners appealed to the court, but the appeal was denied. On April 23, 2003 they were sent to the Wafangdian Prison. Police didn't inform their family members and didn't allow them to visit the practitioners.
[Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Police from Jiamusi City's Forced Labor Camp Persecute Dafa Practitioners Even More Rampantly
Police from Jiamusi City's Forced Labor Camp have always persecuted Dafa practitioners extremely viciously. At present, they are doing it even more rampantly. The police forced Dafa practitioners to work for long periods of time, and dragged practitioners who refused to cooperate with them and forced them to work. They also handcuffed some practitioners, hung them by the wrists and cruelly tortured them. When practitioners went on hunger strikes, they savagely force-fed the practitioners highly concentrated saline solution. We hope that the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong will investigate these cases and stop the persecution by the Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp.
[Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Illegal Sentencing of Dafa Practitioners, Including Mao Xiaoming, Concludes Hastily Due to Practitioners' Righteous Thoughts
Gulou District Court in Fuzhou City carried out a so-called "trial" for Dafa practitioners, including Mr. Mao Xiaoming. Dafa practitioners in this area collectively sent forth righteous thoughts and postponed the sentencing time repeatedly. When the public prosecutor read the defamatory materials, her voice was very weak. She couldn't read the material coherently and appeared to be very scared. Mao Xiaoming refuted the so-called evidence, point by point, and sternly told them: "Dafa practitioners are innocent, and Jiang is guilty!" Finally, the court had to conclude hastily.
[Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioners Huang Xin and Zhan Jianbin Illegally Sentenced to Ten Years of Imprisonment
On December 26, 2001, police officers from Donghu Police Station in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province arrested practitioner Huang Xin when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials. On the same day, the police illegally detained him and beat him, which caused his entire body to become swollen with festered sores. He fainted several times, and he was in critical condition. On June 12, 2002, without notifying their relatives, the judge from Donghu District Justice Court sentenced practitioner Huang Xin and Zhan Jianbin illegally to 10 years of imprisonment. On July 23, 2002, Mr. Zhan Jianbin was sent to Yuzhang Prison, and Mr. Huang Xin was sent to the Nanchang Prison in Jiangxi Province.
[Sanhu Farm, Hubei Province] Illegal Arrest of Practitioner Tian Jiahua
On March 12, 2003, police from the Sanhu Farm Police Station arrested practitioner Tian Jiahua when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She has been detained at Haoxue Prison in Jiangling County of Hubei Province because she refused to name the source of the materials.

[Qianjiang City, Hubei Province] Local Persecution Cases
In March 2003, the police madly arrested practitioners in Qianjiang City. Practitioner Chen Sihai was arrested and sent to the brainwashing center, and practitioner Li Qingxiu sent forth righteous thoughts and was able to evade the police who were attempting to arrest him. Zhang Guiping was forced to leave home and travel to a small town to avoid being persecuted. When the police were trying to arrest Ms. Zhang again, she jumped from the building and broke her legs. Her whereabouts are unknown, and her child is at home without care.

[Shaanxi Province] Persecution Against Dafa Practitioners Zhao Guoping and Jin Rong
Ms. Zhao Guoping, about 65 years old, lives at No. 13, West Renmin Village, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. On March 15, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Because of this, she was illegally detained for over two months at the Lianhu Police Station's Detention Center in Xi'an City. In May or June 2000, she was illegally detained over two months for delivering Dafa books. On September 18, 2002 when she was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials, she was illegally arrested and is being held at Xi'an City's Shapo Detention Center.
Ms. Jin Rong, female, 35 years old, is an employee of Lintong County's Lishan Electronics Company. In August 2002, she was put into a brainwashing center located at the Workers Sanitarium in Chang'an County, Xi'an City. Because she refused to betray her belief, she was forcibly detained at the brainwashing center for two successive sessions. Before the Spring Festival of 2003, at the end of January 2003, lawless policemen asked her work unit to bail her out, but her work unit refused and Ms. Jin Rong refused to give up practice cultivation. Consequently, lawless policemen searched her home at her work unit. (Note: In China, many places of employment provide housing for their employees.) They found more than 30 truth-clarifying VCD's and some truth-clarifying literature. Afterwards, she was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. We speculate that she is being detained at Shaanxi Province's Female Forced Labor Camp.
