(Clearwisdom.net May 14, 2003) On the evening of May 13, 2003, Dafa
practitioners in Singapore and their friends and relatives got together to
celebrate this special day: World Falun Dafa Day. The meeting room was immersed
in a pleasant and festive atmosphere. At the front of the stage were two banners
reading, "World Falun Dafa Day" and "Happy Birthday, Master." Beautiful handmade
lotus flowers formed "5.13" hung on the wall. We respectfully sent our best
wishes to Master.
Practitioners presented a variety of art performances, including poetry recital, chorus, "Celebrating in Heaven and Earth," "Looking at the New Universe," and semi chorus, "To Learn about the Truth is a Blessing," and duetto, "Thanksgiving." A new practitioner performed the dance "Best Wishes." A group of young Dafa practitioners sang two songs, "Muddy Men" and "Doing Sitting Meditation."
In order to let our non-practitioner friends and relatives learn the truth of Falun Dafa, the TV team showed several short films they produced and "Falun Dafa is Widespread around the World" from FGM TV station. A university student who has just obtained Dafa for eight months shared his cultivation experiences. He not only has eliminated many attachments after practicing Falun Dafa, his positive changes also led his mother to become a Dafa practitioner.
Before the celebration concluded, the host thanked the guests for their support and hoped that they would learn more about Falun Dafa and that Dafa would bring them everlasting happiness.
