Falun Dafa Association of Guadeloupe Writes to Japanese Foreign Minister On Behalf of Yoko Kaneko

Honorable Minister Kawaguchi,

We are Falun Gong practitioners from Guadeloupe.

We would like to express our concern regarding Mrs Yoko Kaneko's desperate situation of being jailed and persecuted in China. Mrs. Yoko Kaneko had been in China to appeal for Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong is an ancient practice for the mind and body introduced in China by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992. Since its introduction to the public, it has quickly spread around the world to over 60 countries. Over 100 million people from all walks of life and different cultural backgrounds practice Falun Gong, drawn together in a common wish to become better, healthier people.

Frightened by the growing popularity of this practice, head of the Chinese regime Jiang Zemin launched a broad campaign to eliminate Falun Gong. He used all means at his disposal in order to discredit Falun Gong to and to justify his abominable persecution.

Many governments and international organizations have demanded Jiang to put an end to this persecution of the practitioners of Falun Gong.

We sincerely appeal to you to urgently request China to release Mrs. Kaneko, and allow her to return to her husband and home.
