Free Asia broadcast station report: on Monday, April 14, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners in Germany and Europe held peaceful sit-in protest in front of Chinese consulates and embassies to support the lawsuit against Jiang in U.S. District Court in Illinois. Practitioners are successively filing lawsuits in courts in European countries, charging Jiang with genocide and anti-humanitarian acts through his persecution of Falun Gong.

In order to ensure the success of the lawsuit against Jiang in North America, beginning April 12, Dafa practitioners in Sydney sent forth righteous thought in a collective relay manner for 72 hours in front of the Chinese consulate, to eliminate the interference in other dimensions.

The Truth and People's Hearts

On the evening of April 3, 2003, students at Colorado State University held a Falun Dafa information seminar in conjunction with the campus branch of Amnesty International. Students distributed and posted flyers all over campus and in the central part of Colorado Springs prior to this event. The flyers informed people about the seminar and called people's attention to the persecution Falun Gong is suffering. Kelley Dunlap, a member of Amnesty International, decided to write a weekly letter to help rescue incarcerated Falun Gong practitioners.

Practitioners Exchange Insights

Don't ignore our thoughts: two days ago, a friend asked me to work as her assistant. She hoped I could write on my resume that I graduated from a professional school, so she could put me in a higher salary bracket. Of course I didn't want to lie, so I told her, "You can write that out. I don't want to do it." The next day I felt I didn't do this right. How could I ask my friend to do something that I thought was wrong? So I called my friend at midnight and told her my viewpoint and I finally felt at ease. Although it looks like a trivial thing, it shows that at the time I didn't follow the principles of cultivation. If we don't pay attention to these "small matters" they might snowball and destroy us.

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

The cultivation and Fa-rectification experience of a new practitioner: the media, the Party's mouthpiece, made up ridiculous lies, which intrigued me to learn about Falun Gong. When I read the precious book Zhuan Falun, I suddenly understood why people practiced Falun Gong. After I obtained the Fa, I experienced great changes. Previously I had a violent temper and was very vain. I often got in fights over little things. Now I can treat things with a calm mind, even if others would take advantage of me. I got rid of bad habits, including smoking and drinking. When I read Zhuan Falun for the first time, I saw the words were floating on the surface of the page, and they radiated a golden light. At that moment I truly felt the existence of gods. Falun Dafa books are invaluable. At night I went to a friend's home to clarify the truth and I thought, "It'd be better if the street lights were brighter." Suddenly, the dim lights turned very bright. I thought Master was telling me to hurry up and offer salvation to people!

I was resolute in a brainwashing center, and I believed in Dafa even more firmly. One day in January 2000, I was kidnapped by thugs from the town police station and "610 Office" who illegally sent me to the city detention center, where I was held for 17 days. I was released after my family paid 10,000 Yuan. Twelve days after I returned home they kidnapped me again and sent me to a brainwashing center. Four or five thugs beat and kicked me, and the Politics and Law Committee secretary hit me with his hard boots. On the third day they took me to a police team. After brutal beating, a vicious policeman said, "Let the dog bite him." I calmed down and thought that if I don't owe that dog, it won't bite me; besides, I am a Dafa practitioner, we have Master and the Fa! What are we afraid of. So I continued to recite Hong Yin. The dog was unleashed but it refused to come out, although two policemen hit it with a stick. I knew in my heart that these thugs were worse than the dog! During the process of persecution, I saw my shortcomings and I saw the power and miracle of Dafa, so I believe in Master and Dafa even more.

Truth About Persecution

Neijiang City Detention Center in Sichuan Province makes use of the implication policy. The thugs instigate hatred against Dafa among the inmates, and order the inmates to curse Dafa practitioners.

The articles for daily use sold in the detention center are very expensive and to extort money, they intentionally charge Falun Gong practitioners more. The guards are lawless and brutally persecute the practitioners.

News From China

Before I obtained the Fa I was very sick everywhere in my body. After I obtained the Fa in 1995, I suddenly recovered. Master pulled me back from the verge of death and he gave me another life. After Dafa was attacked and slandered by the thugs, I went to Beijing to appeal in October 1999; I was sent back to my local police station and detained for an extended period of time. The police shocked us with electric batons and forced us to do slave labor for a very long time. During the past several years, the vicious police often harassed us, and applied huge pressure, causing great damage to my family.
