Facts About the Persecution

The evil staff of the brainwashing center organized by the local "610 Office" [ an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the party and all other political and judiciary systems] of Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province tortured Falun Dafa practitioners, forcing them to do hard labor and sleep on the concrete floor, with barely enough to eat. The staff intentionally drink heavily before they commit the crimes, brutally beating practitioners, cuffing and hanging them up, insulting them, freezing them, inserting lit cigarettes in practitioners' nostrils, stuffing a soiled mop in their mouths, forcing liquor down their throats, and smearing urine and human excrement in their mouths.

The staff at Liaoyang City Forced Labour Camp torture Falun Dafa practitioners by forcing them to do hard labor and locking them up in small cells. Practitioners are made to do hard labor for ten hours daily; many practitioners, as a result, have become very sick. Those who remain firm to their beliefs are sent to a small cell; they have become very skinny and look really unhealthy.

Li Changqing, head of the local "610 Office" of Mudanjiang City and the Vice Party Secretary of the local Political and Judiciary Commission, illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners and sentenced them to forced labor camps during illegal trials. Ninety practitioners have been sentenced illegally to terms as high as ten years. At least 400 practitioners have been sentenced to forced labor camps. Four to five people have died. Countless others were tortured or forced to leave home to avoid persecution and have to live on the streets or move from one place to another.

Policeman Chen Feng of No.1 Department of Fushun City Police, Liaoning Province is known for his ruthlessness and greed. He has tortured many practitioners. Li Ying, a twenty something year old lady, had her arms crippled by his gang and is still being jailed. They took possession of practitioners' money and properties used for producing truth materials, extorting huge amounts of money from practitioners' relatives at the same time. They tortured practitioners Wei Zaiqin and Li Ying to death.

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

Master's Li's Portrait in a Fellow Practitioner's Home

The first thing I saw when I walked in a fellow practitioner's home was Master Li's portrait. The practitioner had been illegally detained, sent to a forced labor camp and had walked out in a dignified manner. Everybody in the neighborhood as well as the local police know that she still practices Falun Gong and that she has hung up Master Li's portrait on the wall in her home and that she still talks to everybody around her about Falun Gong. She said to me, no one could take away Master Li's portrait or any of the Dafa books from her, because her life exists for Dafa. Her pure heart and firm belief have made the evil scared and won her the admiration of her fellow practitioners.

Walked Out of the Jail and Drove Away the Police with Righteous Thoughts

On the evening of April 24, 2001, I went in the city to post Falun Gong information and was kidnapped by the local police. They kicked and punched me trying to make me tell them where I got the materials. I refused to tell them. They got so angry that they tied my hands and started to whip them with broomsticks and bamboo sticks until my hands swelled up. In the end, they took me to the local detention center. I said to Master Li that I would go on a hunger strike for 20 days until I got out of the detention center, and requested Master's assistance. On the 19^th day, I had a terrible stomachache that was so painful I rolled on the floor. Then I was taken to the local hospital. I became unconscious after I was taken off the stretcher. The police got scared and asked my family to come and pick me up.

Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts Helped Me Escape a Dangerous Situation

I was forced to leave home to avoid persecution and live in a relative's home. One day, I was reading Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Dafa) on my bed when I heard a knock on the door. I asked my nephew to open the door. Two policemen stood in front of me when the door opened. I was caught unaware. I put the book down on the bed and immediately sent forth righteous thoughts. One policeman said that he needed to check the identification of people from out of town. I was very calm. I moved over to my bed where the cardboard box that contained a lot of truth materials including CDs and tapes were stored. Everything was in plain sight, but they didn't seem to see them. I changed the topic and they started to laugh, and then left. I thought to myself: Master Li's formula is so useful. It's really powerful.
