Torture Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Xinze in the Ziyang Detention Center, Sichuan Province
(Clearwisdom.net) On September 4, 2002, Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Xinze was brutally tortured to death from electric shocks and other cruel means in the Ziyang Detention Center.
While wearing shackles, he was shocked with electric batons for 40 minutes. He was also forced to do heavy manual labor, carrying red-hot bricks from a brick furnace. The temperature in this working environment is around 80 to 90 degrees Celsius (176-190F). People who work there have to wear protective clothing and headgear before they enter to avoid burning their skin and hair.
Chen Yongzhe Dies as A Result of Torture by Guards at the Huanxiling Labor Camp, Jilin Province
(Clearwisdom.net) When I heard that my fellow practitioner, Chen Yongzhe, had died, my heart trembled. He was a respectful practitioner, but Jiang's evil regime had taken his life.
I met Chen Yongzhe for the first time in Shulan City Detention Center in Jilin Province. On January 12, 2001, I was put into cell no.9 of the detention center. Chen Yongzhe was very quiet and always compassionate and kind.

(Clearwisdom.net) At the end of last December, we read an online petition letter from an imprisoned student Falun Gong practitioner from Shanghai Transportation University. At the end of January this year we learned that a global commission for rescuing Tsinghua Falun Gong practitioners was established. These activities inspired us to initiate this signature collection campaign to rescue Tsinghua alumni with a hope that all Tsinghua people and other college students can learn about and pay attention to the brutal human rights violations in China.
