Once I hitchhiked a ride with a provincial police car and talked to the policeman about Falun Gong. He said, "The Falun Gong is really remarkable. They painted their words throughout all the streets and alleys, and hung banners everywhere. We have received the flyers again and again. Even the provincial police know about this now." I was very pleased to hear that. I know it was the work of my fellow practitioners from my hometown.

Due to the evil persecution, some practitioners were dismissed from their jobs and others had to leave home to avoid persecution. Many practitioners have financial problems. Then some of them decided to buy wholesale merchandise of daily necessities and transport them to remote areas to sell. They used this as an opportunity to talk to the local people about Falun Gong at the same time. Because the merchandise is sold at very reasonable prices, the peasants know that the practitioners are nice people and believe in what they tell them. Rain or shine, the practitioners go. They found that it was a very effective way to clarify the truth to people face to face. Encouraged by them, many more practitioners stepped forward.

One practitioner was quite shy and did not know how to talk to people about Falun Gong. She has also had a relatively easy life. But since she went to the countryside to spread Falun Gong, she has become mature and confident. Not only has she overcome the fear of talking to people, but also does an excellent job with the wisdom given to her by Falun Dafa. She said that she felt like a monk wandering about, carrying a huge bag and walking miles each day. She has lost count of how many pairs of shoes she has worn out. Sometimes when the weather was very harsh, it was very hard for her to continue doing it, and she almost broke down, but as soon as she thought about the number of people in the rural areas who do not know the truth, she became stronger and carried on.
