A letter from a Falun Dafa practitioner imprisoned in the Beijing Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp was mailed to his family members with the help of many different hands:
From July 1999 to present, I have been one of the victims of this vicious persecution. The Jiang regime's gangster-like abductions, arrests, and suppression have torn apart and ruined many Dafa practitioner's families. Even worse, they have used cruel tortures to force practitioners to write the so-called "statement of transformation". What is more despicable is that the regime uses the entire state-run media to compile lies to deceive people. However, I firmly believe that the evil will not triumph over the virtuous. Truth will eventually be revealed and Jiang will be brought to justice.

February 15, Radio Free Asia, Hong Kong -- More than 100 Falun Gong practitioners held group exercises today (Saturday) outside the Hong Kong Legislative Hall to oppose the HKSAR government's enactment of Article 23 of the Basic Law. Hong Kong Falun Gong spokesperson, Kan Hung-cheung said that Falun Gong practitioners oppose Article 23 because the Beijing authorities could use this law to control Hong Kong and suppress any groups that Beijing dislikes. Reports from the Associated Press pointed out that many Hong Kong people oppose the enactment of Article 23 out of fear that the freedoms of press and expression will be lost in Hong Kong.
