[Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Former Student From Dalian University of Foreign Languages Suffers a Torture-Induced Mental Breakdown
Wang Qiang, a Falun Gong practitioner who lived in Tufang Village, Qianyang Town, Donggang City, Liaoning Province was a student at Dalian University of Foreign Languages. He is 27 years old and was illegally detained in 1999 for appealing for Dafa in Beijing. The perpetrators of Jiang's orders to persecute Falun Dafa cruelly tortured him at Donggang City Detention Center and at the Dandong Labor Camp. Mr. Wang had a serious mental collapse as a result. He has completely lost his memory and his ability to speak and cannot take care of himself.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Perpetrators at the Etouwan Brainwashing Class Hang up and Torment Elderly Dafa Practitioners
It has been two months since police arrested Ms. Peng Xiuzhen, a Dafa practitioner in her 70s, who lived in Shiqiaokou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. They sent her to the Etouwan Brainwashing Class in Wuhan City. The perpetrators never allowed any family visits. Because Ms. Peng Xiuzhen refused to give up her belief in Dafa, the police tied her hands behind her back and hung her up with her feet above the ground. When her family went to visit her, the police didn't allow them to see her. Later, the family saw Ms. Peng walk out of the classroom, helped by two other people, and she looked extremely haggard and weak. The family cried and said to the police, "She was very healthy when she was arrested! If she dies, we will sue you!"
[Weifang City, Shandong Province] Unlawful Detention of Dafa Practitioners Wang Guixia and Zhang Huizhen at the Fangzi District Detention Center
On October 19, 2003, Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Guixia and Ms. Zhang Huizhen from the Gangcheng District Development Park in the Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province were reported. They had been clarifying the truth in Zhangtuan Village, Nanliu Town, when Fangzi District Police officer Wang Pengcheng and others illegally arrested them on their way home. These two practitioners have been detained at the Fangzi District Detention Center ever since. The police forbids family visits.
[Gaoyi County, Hebei Province] Personnel from the "610 Office" Illegally Arrest Dafa Practitioner Guo Xinxian
Recently, the officials from Gaoyi County's "610 Office" in Hebei Province have been constantly going to Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Xinxian's home to harass him [the "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. On November 5, 2003, a group of agents from the local "610 Office" jumped over the wall of Guo Xinxian's home in Xibeiying Village and abducted Mr. Guo. They detained him at Gaoyi County Detention Center. Sources say Mr. Guo is currently holding a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. In 2000, Guo Xinxian was sent to a forced labor camp, as punishment for going to Beijing to appeal.

[Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Police Arrest Several Dafa Practitioners
Around 9:00 p.m. on November 9, 2003, police officers from Yilan County's National Security Bureau and different police departments arrested Dafa practitioners Ni Chunyan, Zhang Keming, Shi Wenxian, Han Lihua and Zhao Xiuyun, and detained them at the No. 2 Detention Center in Yilan County.
They also went to the homes of many other practitioners to harass them.
Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Lianying, who is in her 60s, was transferred to the Eastern Division of the Yilan County Detention Center for further persecution. [Note: Yilan County Detention Center is divided between the Eastern and Western Division, and the Eastern Division is where the hardcore criminals are detained.]
[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] More than a Dozen Dafa Practitioners from Shijiazhuang City's Airplane Factory Are Put into a Brainwashing Class
Around the time of the 16th National Party Congress, over ten Dafa practitioners from Shijiazhuang City's Airplane Factory were arrested and put into a brainwashing class. This was probably done by personnel from the Hongxing Police Station. Almost all of these practitioners are retired employees of the Airplane Factory. They had illnesses before they practiced, but all got healed after they began Dafa practice. The arrested practitioners are: Yang Honglai, Zhang Hongru and spouse, Lan Chunyan and spouse, Liu Rongfa and spouse, Li Shulan, Li Guiying, Bai Meizhu and a practitioner whose last name is Zhang.

It is said that the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp is still holding over 30 Dafa practitioners whose terms expired on November 28, 2003. The authorities are even planning to put them into brainwashing classes.

During the night of November 21, 2003, policemen from the Minzhu Police Station climbed into practitioner Mr. Zhou Quan's backyard and abducted him. The details are still under investigation. One day before this incident, three policemen went to his house to check for his tenant "Residence Certificate." He was arrested on the second day.

Tonghua City's Railway Crew sent Falun Gong practitioners in their work unit to Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Their exact location is unknown. We assume it is probably a brainwashing class. The Railway Crew also deducted 3,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China] from each one's salary. (Note: the railway system of Liaoning Province and Jilin Province are both under the management of the Shenyang City Railway Bureau).

Personnel from Qiaokou District's "610 Office" coerced all police station staff and community workers to participate in arresting Dafa practitioners in the local areas and sending them to brainwashing classes. The following are individual cases:
On October 15, 2003, Dafa practitioner Ms. Peng Zhenxiu was arrested at home and sent to Qiaokou District's Brainwashing Class.
At around 8:00 a.m. on October 17, 2003, Dafa practitioner Ms. Gui Wenfang was arrested when she was about to do some grocery shopping and was put into the Etouwan Brainwashing Class.
On November 5, 2003, Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Yongmei was sent to the Etouwan Brainwashing Class when she was about to go out to buy breakfast.
At around 3:00 p.m. on November 12, 2003, personnel from the "610 Office" went to Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Huifen's home and attempted to take her to a brainwashing class. They were refused and failed to take her away. Then they assigned people to take turns to stake out the building around the clock. From November 12 to 17, they besieged Ms. Zhang for those five days and nights. This practitioner managed to escape with the power of her righteous thoughts. When the agents found out, they went to harass the practitioner's husband at work and interfered with his normal work routine.
They also often harass Ms. Zhang's family members and relatives. Now her family members are harassed so badly that they are unable to go home.
[Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Illegal Detention of Dafa Practitioner Li Jianhua at the Nanshan Prison
Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Jianhua works at the Xingcheng Physical Therapy Hospital in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. Local authorities sentenced him to five years in prison. On October 15, 2003 he was sent to Jinzhou City's Nanchongshan Prison. Now he is detained at the newly-arrived prisoner team of the city's Nanshan Prison for "group training" (being tortured). His family has not been allowed to see him. It was reported that after "group training" for several months, he will be sent to a prison in another city or province.

[Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Pu Xinjun
Mr. Pu Xinjun is an employee of the Zhuanji Company for the Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau in Heilongjiang Province. During the afternoon of November 3, 2003, lawless policemen from Ranghulu District's Police Precinct in Daqing City arrested him (Minghui.net has reported this case).
At the same time, his home was ransacked and turned upside down. His child's computer, his wife's business cell phone and all Dafa books and materials were confiscated. When his wife came back from work, these policemen, who have no regard for upholding the law, were waiting outside the house. They forcibly took her to Ranghulu District' Police Precinct. That night, their 13-year-old daughter was left without care. The next day, an official from her work unit brought Mr. Pu's wife back home.

After Teacher published the comments of two articles "Golden Buddha" and "Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People," we practitioners divided our city into three districts and successfully held three experience-sharing meetings, one in each district. About 20 practitioners took part in each district's meeting where we discussed our understanding of the Fa, the power of sending forth righteous thoughts and methods for clarifying the truth. After communicating with each other, we clearly understood that in order to rescue more people, we should thoroughly expose local evildoers and effectively expose their evil deeds, as well as do well the three things Teacher requires of us -- study the Fa, expose the facts of the persecution and send forth righteous thoughts.

[Heilongjiang Province] Illegal Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Na Wenjun
Dafa practitioner Ms. Na Wenjun, from Hongwei Village, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, had rented an apartment at the No. 6 Oil Extracting Factory for her and her daughter, who is a high school student. Someone reported her on November 14, 2003 for being a Falun Gong practitioner. Now she is being illegally detained at Daqing City's Detention Center, which has severely traumatized her daughter.
[Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Shuangliu County Authorities Set up a Brainwashing Center to Persecute Dafa Practitioners
On January 18, 2002, a brainwashing center was set up in Shuangliu County. Since then, lawless policemen in Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province who blindly follow Jiang's unlawful orders, have already illegally arrested several Dafa practitioners. They use the ruse of "holding a judicatory training class," but totally ignore the law. They forced Dafa practitioner to do manual labor and tortured Dafa practitioners. They would lock one person in one cell or a basement, making them stand still for a long time, with both hands raised up. They also exposed the practitioners to the blazing sun for long periods of time.
