(Clearwisdom.net) On October 28 and 30, 2003 practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Vienna, exposing Jiang Regime's crimes and demanding that the Chinese government release illegally jailed Falun Dafa practitioners in Jilin Province.
Jiang's regime brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, flaunting the law and disrespecting all humanity. It ordered China's state-controlled media to fabricate lies slandering Falun Dafa. The 100 practitioners in Jilin Prison broke the media blockage and exposed the lies fabricated by Jiang's regime over local cable TV systems, clarifying the truth. Austrian practitioners asked the Chinese government to release the Jilin practitioners immediately and stop the persecution.
On October 28, David Bowie came to Austria to perform. Drummer Sterling Campbell, in his spare time, went to the Chinese Embassy to send righteous thoughts. Campbell has practiced Falun Gong for five years. In 2002, he went to China to appeal for Falun Gong and was detained and beaten up by Chinese police.
