During China's National Day, October 1st, 2003, Dafa practitioners in Wuhan City made ten banners and hung them in a downtown area and also some residential areas. The longest banner was 8 meters long (about 24 feet); the shortest one was 3 meters (about 9 feet) long. They read, "Falun Dafa is Good," "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is Good," "Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa," "Jiang Zemin is Brought before International Courts," "Restore Falun Dafa's Reputation," "Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice."

On November 16, 2003, dozens of Dafa truth-clarifying banners and signs on red paper appeared in several villages, on many streets and along the 306 National Highway in a county of Chifeng City. The banners and signs read, "Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice," "Falun Dafa is Good," "Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa."

During the night of November 12, 2003, policemen from Shenzhen City's Zhennan Police Precinct arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Jianying from the Bao'an District, Shenzhen City.
[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Arrested Female Dafa Practitioners from Shenyang City Are First Sent to Shenyang City Detention Center
It's said that after they had been interrogated, arrested female Dafa practitioners from Shenyang City are usually first sent to Shenyang City Detention Center. After a period of time, those sentenced to forced labor are sent to forced labor camps; those sentenced to imprisonment are sent to prisons.

Policeman Zhang Aihui from the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City held many so-called "training assembly" sessions. Every session lasts seven days. He held nine sessions total. He forced Dafa practitioners to say or write bad things. Practitioners held in the No.7 Division were forced to work daily overtime to finish urgent tasks. They were not allowed to rest until very late every night. It was more difficult for older people to live under those conditions.

In mid March 2003, personnel from Wuhan City Police Department's No.1 Section abducted Dafa practitioners Mr. Xu Jianjun, Mr. Liu Shuisheng, Mr. Yu Ganghai, Mr. Xie Fengji from Jiangjun Road, Wuhan City. They are still held at the Dongxihu Detention Center till now.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xuexia, 26, is a primary school teacher from the Henan School in Yueshan Town, Kaiping City. She has a 15-months-old baby. On November 17, 2003, personnel from Kaiping City's Political & Judiciary Committee took Li Xuexia to the Sanbu Brainwashing Class.
This time, five or six Dafa practitioners were arrested.

[Ren County, Hebei Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wu Lanyun
At 6:00 p.m. on November 12, 2003, the police from Ren County and Xingtai City Police Department arrested Ms. Wu Lanyun at her home. The detailed information is unknown.
[Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioners
Ms. Chen Yifen lives at Laoshantou Township/Datong District/Zhaoyuan County/Daqing City/Heilongjiang Province.
At about 5:00 a.m. on November 9, 2003, in order to arrest practitioners Chen Yihong, Feng Jinsheng, Feng Jinming and others, Han Fengxiang, chief of Zhaoyuan County's Political and Security Section, led a dozen policemen from Zhaoyuan Town Police Precinct, including Wang Jinpeng, a policeman who has arrested and beaten practitioners many times, to break into Dafa practitioner Chen Yifen's home. Without showing any legal warrant, they started to ransack the home. They left for a while and then came back. Since there was nobody at home, they broke the window and ransacked the home again but did not find anything. Then they ordered policemen from the Laoshantou Police Precinct to help arrest these practitioners and incited the neighbors to monitor these practitioners. They also harassed practitioners' relatives and held stakeouts at main crossings to arrest practitioners, but they still did not get anyone. They went to Feng Jinsheng's parent's home. Feng's parent said they did not know Feng's whereabouts, but the police forcibly took the parents away and left their young child at home.
Policemen from the Laodoushan Police Office claimed that if they got any of the above practitioners, they would send them into a brainwashing class. These practitioners have to live away from home now to avoid illegal arrest. This means that young children are left home without care.
[Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Arrest Cases
In October 2003, practitioner Sun Juan from Donggang City of Liaoning Province was arrested because someone reported her to the police. At the same time a practitioner from Dandong City was also arrested.
On November 12, 2003, practitioners Hu Huanyun and Ms/Mr Ge, retired teachers of Zhanqian Primary School, were arrested and their homes were ransacked.
Practitioner Ms. Li Na was sentenced to four years of imprisonment because she distributed Dafa truth-clarifying materials.
[Heilongjiang Province] Illegal Detention of Dafa Practitioners Yang Zhenyi and Liu Huaguo
Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Zhenyi is an employee of Weihe Town's Wood Bureau in Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province. In 2001, he was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor because he went to Beijing to clarify the truth of Falun Gong. He was released in August 2003, and "610 Office"* tyrants took him back. They were from Weihe Town's Wood Bureau. Soon he was sent to the local wood bureau's detention center where he is till now. The reason given for his most recent detention is to prevent him from going to Beijing again.
Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Huaguo is also an employee of Weihe Town's Wood Bureau. In order to avoid endless harassing from local "610 Office" perpetrators, which made him unable to lead a normal life, he had to leave home and travel from place to place for a long time. In April 2003, he was arrested, sent back and detained at Weihe Town's Wood Bureau Detention Center with an unspecified term.
[Jilin Province] Illegal Detention of Dafa Practitioner Sun Baoyu
Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Baoyu, 45, lives at Chenbei Street, Kouqian Town in Yongji County, Jilin Province. On November 10, 2003, when he was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials to local people at Erdao Township in the Fengman District/Jilin Province, someone reported him to police. Officers from Erdao Township Police Station arrested him. On November 12, the local police precinct colluded with the Beijiedao Police Precinct and the Chengbei Police Precinct, which was in charge of Sun's residential area and illegally searched Sun Baoyu's house. Although they found nothing, these lawless policemen from Erdao Township Police Station sent Sun Baoyu to Jinlin City Detention Center for further persecution.
