Master's Caring and Protection:

I used to do exercises in front of the Chinese Consulate at night. Because of the heavy clothes I put on, my arms got tired very quickly while doing the Falun Standing Stance exercise. It occurred to me that one practitioner used to ask Master in his mind for support under the same circumstance and then he felt his arms were pulled up by Falun. So I said in my mind: "Would Master please help me?" The minute this thought came out, the traffic in front of the Chinese Consulate started to slow down and cars were following one another bumper to bumper as if the road was blocked. I immediately realized there were so many eyes looking at me and I couldn't cause damage to Dafa; thinking "I have to look like a decent Dafa practitioner no matter how tired I am." So I insisted on finishing the Falun Standing Stance exercise.

On my way home, I told my husband, "That's strange, when someone else asked Master for help, he's got the Falun to lift his arms; when I ask Master for help, it ended up that I had to help myself." My husband just commented that there are different requirements for different practitioners.

My understanding is that you can only increase your Gong with your own cultivation, and not depend on Master to add on to it. Master's caring and protection show up as the external factors to provide practitioners means and environments (to increase the Gong). True improvement comes from internal factors that we must actively work for.

Truth and People's Hearts

My boss was terrified when he learned that I practice Falun Gong and wanted to fire me. However, the Chair of human resources disapproved because I had the best performance in the company. Though I stayed, my boss often reminded me in meetings not to participate in politics and religions. I had to grab every opportunity to clarify the truth to him.

As he gradually understood Dafa, I was valued even more and eventually he promoted me to be general manager and often let me take care of the most sensitive tasks. Now we talk a lot about the crimes of Jiang's regime persecuting Falun Gong and he is very willing to chat with me regarding these topics.

News From China

Story from a Village:

There was a very kind couple living in a village in China. Once the police went to the couple's house and demanded they turn in the Falun Gong related books; they refused. The police then tried to force them to sign the Guarantee Statement [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.], they again refused. "It is Falun Dafa that saved our family. After learning the Fa, we are healthy and we are living a wealthy life now. Beside we have not violated any laws. There is nothing wrong with being a good person", the couple told the police. The police later wanted the couple to rebuke Dafa and Master, the couple replied: "We won't. We have never done that in our lives. Besides, Master asks us to be good people, we are kindhearted people and hence we won't rebuke anyone or anything." The police got very upset and said: "I will arrest you if you don't sign and speak out against Dafa." "We will not even if you arrest us, there is nothing wrong with us," the wife replied. The policeman had to give up and leave as he had failed.
