(Clearwidsom.net) On October 25 a group of six Irish practitioners from Dublin and Meath traveled to Cork, the second largest city in Ireland, to study the Fa, tell people the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, and share experiences with local practitioners.
During the 4-hour car journey to Cork, practitioners read Zhuan Falun [the main text of Falun Gong] aloud in both Chinese and English so that the driver could also benefit.
Upon reaching Cork, the practitioners had difficulties contacting the local practitioners. They drove around for a while but did not succeed in finding them. As a result, the practitioners went to the street and set up tables, posters and banners to let people know more about the persecution. They demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises and spoke with local people. The response from the locals was very good, with many comments of support. Most Chinese people took the truth-clarifying materials and the ones who held negative thoughts about Dafa stayed and talked, allowing practitioners to let them know the truth. During the few hours that practitioners held this activity, many people learned about Falun Gong.
Later, it was arranged to meet up at a local university for a group Fa-study and discussion. Firstly, a small group studied indoors and this continued outside after more practitioners arrived. The nine practitioners studied Teacher's lectures together and sent forth righteous thoughts in the courtyard of the university. Practitioners shared their thoughts and understandings about the process of Fa-rectification and their personal cultivation.
Because everyone was very busy, the practitioners could not stay in Cork and needed to go home on the same day. Again, practitioners studied the Fa on the way home and sent forth righteous thoughts every hour. They all felt invigorated by the trip and that their righteous thoughts were strengthened when they cooperated and communicated well with one another.
