Strengthen righteous thoughts and validate Dafa -- An eight-year cultivation experience from a Dafa practitioner:

I started practice Falun Gong in April 1996. Since then, I have not taken any medicine and my health is much better than most people's. Jiang's Regime started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, and my place of work began brainwashing sessions. I told the secretary of the Party Commission: "My illness was cured because of practicing Falun Gong, why am I not allowed to practice now? Am I against the Party by stretching and meditating?"

He did not have anything to say about my comments and told me to just practice at home. The brainwashing session was dismissed. I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa twice in 1999 and was illegally arrested, fined and lost my wages. In 2001, the Jiang regime staged the "Tiananmen Square Self Immolation" and falsely accused Falun Gong of causing this incident. I wrote signs, made banners and printed fliers with the truth and sent them to my friends and relatives. I was explaining the truth everyday.

One day a police officer came to look for trouble, the building manager, who lived upstairs from me, drove him away and said there is nothing wrong practicing Falun Gong. Everyday I strictly follow Dafa's standards of conduct for a practitioner so that people around me know that Dafa practitioners are good people. On October 1, 2000, I went to Beijing's Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa; later I went back to my hometown to bring five more practitioners to the square. I have created an environment in which my family does not try to stop me anymore; my friends, relatives and neighbors all now understand my actions.

A story from Mainland China

I have a male cousin who lived in a remote suburb. His old illness recurred this March, and he could not take care of himself at all and could barely eat. He had an examination in a large hospital and found out that he had many gallstones. The medical expense was expected to be at least 20,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China.]. For a lonely, old man without children and with an annual income of only 1,000 Yuan, this made his situation extremely difficult. I told my cousin about the magic healing power of Falun Gong and the truth of the persecution. He insisted on listening to Teacher's lectures everyday and on doing the five exercises. In a week he could take care of himself. This July I went to see him, and my cousin happily said to me that "whoever speaks ill of Falun Gong are mean and bad people; not only were my illnesses cured, I can work on the farms, I can go up to the mountain and pick dried wood and walk for a few dozen miles with 60-70 pounds of wood on my back!"

My sister came all the way to my house from a village in Hubei and told me with excitement: "knowing the truth of Falun Dafa really brings blessings. Last time a tornado hit us, many big trees were being pulled out with their roots and several houses collapsed. I was really afraid that the tornado would blow the roof off my house because it is the tallest home in the neighborhood. I suddenly remembered the magic power of Falun Dafa, so I imitated what I saw in the "True Story of Falun Dafa" I pressed my hands together and sincerely chanted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Afterward, I found that only two ceramic tiles were blown off my rooftop; the smaller houses around mine had a lot more blown off.

A letter to home

In a blink of an eye, I have been overseas for half a year. A while ago my uncle and aunt had a meeting overseas and needed to change planes in the country in which I have stayed. They rented a car and drove to see me. They are frugal in their everyday life, and uncle often tells me that we need to cherish the food we eat. They took me to visit the famous castles, museums, universities and docks in the city I live. They treated me to dinner in a Chinese restaurant. I told uncle and aunt, "You have changed after so many years; uncle has become less irritable and aunt becomes more open-hearted." They told me that they have practiced Falun Gong together for more than a year, and it is Falun Dafa that changed them. Uncle and Aunt also told me that Falun Dafa is known worldwide in more than 50 countries and that there is a lawsuit filed against Jiang Zemin in an international court overseas...spending those couple of days with them, I forgot to put on my makeup, and my skin turned delicate and radiant. My dear father and mother, meeting with uncle and aunt made a huge impact on me: I do not wish to be silent anymore. In China, all citizens live under the lies and propaganda from the government. It is wrong that the government suppresses those truthful and compassionate people for their beliefs.

News from China

The first news from the investigation of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Sichuan Dayi County in China: The Dayi county 610 Office and the public security judiciary and other departments under the 610 Office have been persecuting hundreds of compassionate and innocent Falun Gong practitioners. They broke into and searched their houses, beat them, took them to the court, searched them in public, fined them and coerced them to make false statements. They teamed up with the CCTV show "Lies Under the Spotlight" to falsely accuse and frame Falun Gong. The evil coalition collected signatures to pressure Dayi citizens to accept their propaganda against Falun Gong. They arrested Falun Gong practitioners, fined them, fired them from their jobs, put them in prison and sentenced them to labor camps. They had detained and imprisoned tens of Falun Gong practitioners in Dayi County, and many practitioners were sentenced to go through labor "reeducation" and were put under surveillance for long periods of time. Some of them were forced into homelessness. Here, we seriously warn the malicious people who take part in persecuting the Falun Gong practitioners -- wake up and distinguish between righteous and evil. Please remember: "the justice will be served even after a thousand years, one thought can bring you good or evil, fortune or misfortune." Please leave yourselves a way out!
