1. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Dafa Truth Posters Are Hung Up Before the China Bamboo Culture Festival
From October, 11 2003 to October 13, 2003, a China Bamboo Culture Festival was held in Xianning City in Hubei Province, and many foreign businessmen attended. To validate the Fa and tell the truth to people, local Dafa practitioners went out on the night of October 7 to hang the Dafa truth posters and banners, effectively shaking the evil.
1). There were banners and full-color posters set up along several kilometers of major highways with the words "Falun Dafa is Great," "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is Great," "Global Trial of Jiang Zemin," sending righteous greetings to the incoming guests.
2). "Falun Dafa is Great" was painted on electric poles and on-ramps to roads. This was very striking to see, and could be seen from as far as one kilometer away.
3). The largest banner, "Falun Dafa is Righteous Fa," was hung on a cliff. There were several miracles that happened during the set up process. One practitioner fell from the cliff by accident and then was floating in the air with no support. He returned to solid ground safely.
The evil heads from the provincial government were so frightened after seeing all the Dafa banners and paintings, in a rage they ordered the local Xianning Police department to solve the case by a certain date, threatening that otherwise all local police would be laid off. Xinaning Police went out and did a massive series of illegal searches and arrests, illegally kidnapping more than 10 people, and persecuting Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Yufeng to death.
2. [Beijing] About the Truth of the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" Case
One day I visited a relative and the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" incident was brought into the conversation. My relative said that the self-immolation was not real. A co-worker of my relative had gone on a business trip to Beijing and saw with his own eyes that on the afternoon of January 23, 2001, Tiananmen Square was under curfew. No one was allowed to pass. He also saw one vehicle dropping a few people at the center of the square, and that one of them was cuffed on the hands and feet. Soon after there was smoke and fire coming out from the square, and the police were busy putting out the fire, video taping, taking photos, etc.
3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Prison Guards Relentlessly Torture Steadfast Dafa Practitioners
A Dafa practitioner who was illegally detained in the Jinzhou Prison was relentlessly persecuted by prison guards because he insisted on practicing Falun Gong in the prison. This practitioner went on a hunger strike to protest, which resulted in much more torture from the prison guards. The guards put tape all over the practitioner's body, making it impossible for him to move. His mouth was also taped. He was held up by four criminal prisoners for daily roll-call. Many prisoners were very frightened to see this, and it is known that another practitioner is also on hunger strike.
4. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xu Juhua Is Kidnapped to a Brainwashing Center After Three Years of Illegal Detention in a Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Xu Juhua from Guangzhou city (also known as Canton) had been to Beijing 3 times to validate the Fa. She was followed by police from the Wusan Police Unit when she was out making copies of Dafa material. She was illegally sentenced to 3 years in a forced labor camp. Because she was steadfast in Dafa cultivation and wouldn't give up practicing Falun Dafa, she was not released until even after her term was up. Eventually she was transferred from the labor camp to Tianhe brainwashing class only to continue to be persecuted.
5. [Jiayin County, Heilongjiang Province] Police Abduct Dafa Practitioners Zhang Shuling and Others
Police from the Jiayin county police department in Heilongjiang Province illegally Abducted three Dafa practitioners including Ms. Zhang Shuling who is an employee of a local farm.
6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhao Lijuan Is Arrested by Police from the Niuxintai Police Station
On the evening of October 14, 2003, police from the Niuxintai station in Benxi City tricked Ms. Zhao Lijuan into opening her door by pretending to collect a water bill. After the door was opened, police tried to use force to take her away from her home. Ms. Zhao and her family refused to comply. Police called more policemen and cars to surround the home. Ms. Zhao shouted out loudly that Falun Dafa is Great while she was taken to the Niuxintai police station and was detained there for one night. On the morning of October 15, 2003, using her strong righteous thoughts, Ms. Zhao walked out of the police station. Evil police went to many places trying to intercept her, and used many excuses to go to other Dafa practitioners' homes to search. In one case, when they found some practitioners, they jumped over the house wall to get in, breaking the door lock, and kidnapping a practitioner's wife as a hostage. The family went to the police station ask for release of the wife, but police didn't release her.

On the morning of October 15, another Dafa practitioner was arrested by the police from the Huolianzai Police Station in the Xihu District of Benxi City. Practitioner's name is unknown. Details are missing.

7. [Henshui City, Hebei Province] TV Station Broadcasts Programs Defaming Falun Dafa
From October 15 to 17, 2003, Heshui TV station broadcast defaming programs against Falun Dafa including poems and Kuaiban (fast talking performance). These programs mainly came out of labor camps and brainwashing classes. They were produced by police or the so-called "reformed ones" under police supervision and direction. The purpose of these programs is to beautify the evil, cover up the crimes and cheat people. It is a tactic used by the evil to persecute Dafa.
8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners be Warned of Spies from Shuangcheng City
Since May this year there have been over ten material sites damaged and about 60 or 70 Dafa practitioners illegally arrested. It has been confirmed that this was largely caused by a traitor from the Shuangcheng City, with practitioners being followed over a long period of time. We hope practitioners in Harbin will pay attention. When our righteous minds are strong, the spy has only two options: either to be assimilated into the righteous mind field, or to run away. Therefore do not think this is an issue concerning only other practitioners. We all need to calm down and study Fa more, look inside and avoid being taken advantage of by the old forces and the bad people in the world.
