Duplicating truth-clarifying flyers via hand-writing and distributing them door to door to the neighborhood.

I obtained Falun Dafa relatively late and was unable to contact fellow practitioners, so I could not obtain Dafa truth-clarifying materials. In the end of 2000, I received a Dafa flyer at my door and upon reading it, my heart was deeply moved. I am a Dafa disciple and I should also participate in the Fa-rectification. So, I edited the flyer and then used carbon paper to duplicate it through hand-writing. Each time, I was able to duplicate 4 or 5 copies. Then I distributed the hand-made flyers to every apartment in the nearby resident complex. As time passed, I covered the nearby area and then went to the countryside to spread the truth. Later, I was finally able to contact fellow practitioners and obtained printed flyers, self-adhesive posters and beautiful Dafa banners. When I hung a Dafa banner for the first time, I felt very happy.

Persecution Facts

To increase the so-called "reformation rate" (namely, to force practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Gong), Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp tortured every determined Dafa practitioner by shackling one hand and one foot together and hanging the practitioner so that he/she was unable to sit or stand without extreme pain in the body. Some practitioners who could not bear the brutal torture and thus wrote the so-called "three statements" ["Three Statements" are documents coerced under extreme pressure, torture and brainwashing, consisting of a letter of repentance, a guarantee to never again practice Falun Gong, and a list containing names and addresses of all family, friends and acquaintances of the detainee who practice Falun Gong. This system was concocted by the "610" office, an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] against their own will are suffering extremely in their hearts. We call on overseas Dafa practitioners and kind-hearted people to apply all possible measures to stop the atrocities in Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp.

The fifth brigade of Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp uses all kinds of means to persecute Dafa practitioners. The jail guards apply physical tortures, including forcing practitioners to squat like "army corps" posture, forcing them to stand facing a wall for a long time, depriving practitioners of sleep for a long period of time, forcing them to take long-distance runs and forbidding them to relieve themselves or to have meals. However, practitioners holistically become more and more mature and their righteous thoughts become more and more powerful. The vicious police officers feel extremely panicked as practitioners who have gone astray become more and more clearheaded. They thus separate practitioners and prohibit them from talking with each other. Unfortunately, no matter how the police officers exhaust their efforts, they are unable to retrieve their collapsing situation.

Vicious policeman, Yue Qingjin and Yue Weihua from the fifth brigade of Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp are responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Yue Qingjin used to torture practitioners by depriving them of sleep, beating them or applying physical punishment to practitioners. He also incited those who betrayed Dafa to serve as accomplices. Yue Weihua wantonly quoted out of context and twisted the meaning of Dafa books and articles to deceive those who went astray due to the brainwashing. He even beat or kicked practitioners, shouted and howled at them, deliberately pestered them and even put pressure on practitioners' family members.

News from China

Practitioners who have been part of the faculty or students from Tsinghua University have been persecuted because they persist in their belief. Some have been sent to forced labor camps, some have been sentenced to jail, and some were arrested. Their whereabouts are currently unknown. Most of them have doctoral or masters degrees. Four practitioners were recommended to enter Ph.D programs without entrance-examinations. Almost all of the student practitioners were awarded various scholarships and many of them were student leaders. Before they were arrested by the police, they all encountered persecution without exception from Tsinghua University. Since Tsinghua University was established more than 80 years ago, it has taken "Constantly Strive to Become Stronger, and Value Virtue to Carry on" as its school motto. However, without courage to uphold morality and justice in the face of power, how could it be possible to safeguard Tsinghua's spirit? How could it be possible for Tsinghua to be "stronger" and to "value virtue?"
