A Western Practitioner Righteously Validates Dafa to Chinese Tourists

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently we noticed a big wave of Chinese tourists traveling to our city for the purpose of sight seeing. Next to a famous building, a national symbol for freedom and democracy, there is a tour bus parking lot. Many groups of Mainland Chinese people gather there.

I discovered I still had a mental block about clarifying the truth to these people because I felt it was very difficult to speak to them while they were in a group and everyone was monitoring each other. So I decided I would just practice the exercises in front of them. The resulting impact was quite huge. They were all very moved and shouting excitedly, "Oh, Falun Dafa! "Falun Dafa!"

Practicing the exercises in front of these tourist groups, the exercises often felt very different. The reaction of each Chinese tourist is different, but I have realized that taking time to study the Fa before going out to validate Dafa in this way is very important. On one occasion, I rushed after work to the bus parking lot and jumped into the exercises holding the mentality of having a certain kind of fighting spirit. It wasn't a coincidence that soon a group of men came up behind me. Listening to the tone of their voices I realized that they were becoming more and more vicious. I kept an untouchable calm center within myself, knowing that I became moved or fearful that the situation could escalate. (This was one of the lessons learned from my Tiananmen experience)

A single man got up the courage to go to my tape recorder. Perhaps he thought to switch off the exercise music, however, he did not complete his action. They were urged to enter the bus and the exercise music finished right at the moment the group began to leave. Afterwards, I had some mixed thoughts about this incident. I thought, on one hand I did validate the Fa while practicing the exercises in front of them, but on the other hand, if they became vicious against Dafa it was definitely not good for them and it was a wrong result.

So looking inside as to how I could improve, I made the decision to be more serious about studying the Fa more diligently before I went out to validate Dafa the next time. Meanwhile, the next morning I had a sudden enlightenment that a lot of these men were in certain official positions in China and in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. Their viciousness was not only a result of the slandering propaganda, but I realized that my lack of preparation by not studying the Fa enough gave the evil in other dimensions more energy and loopholes to pour in their bad thoughts. I also realized the enormous responsibility I have while validating Dafa. Whenever I have studied the Fa with a focused and calm mind, Chinese tourists usually react for the most part with positive surprise and very few get upset.

One thing has become special in this environment. If I realize that something not correct is going on or the evil things are rising up, I send righteous thoughts while doing the exercises, without stopping them. One day, a very ambitious Chinese official must have called the local police. A police car stopped near me for awhile and then left after a short time. I don't know what that person must have told the police. Maybe some of the Chinese then realized that Falun Dafa is not persecuted all over world like the regime's propaganda claims. To see me reading Zhuan Falun while sitting on the steps of the famous building in front of them wearing a yellow "Falun Gong" shirt is quite shocking to them. When a Westerner validates Dafa, the impression to Mainland Chinese is very strong.

After practicing the exercises I realized that this alone was not enough to completely break through all the lies in their minds. Some other practitioners had worked on a new flyer specifically for the Chinese tourists. We had realized that they are afraid and refuse to take anything when they see it is Falun Gong and Falun Dafa practitioners. The Chinese tourists walk together in a big closed group making it even more difficult to hand out materials to them. Therefore, we created a very tiny flyer, the size of a credit card, with a very pleasing design. The contents are brief, precise and concise. A person reading it is able to grasp everything in less than 30 seconds. This little flyer is made from a letter-sized piece of paper cut lengthwise into three strips, each of which is then folded into three parts, creating a miniature 6 panel brochure.

The cover page shows a welcome to tourists with a picture. The small size of the flyer enables a person receiving it to hide it in one's hand and quickly put it into a pocket after realizing the contents. The cover shows a nice picture from our city and in Chinese characters says, "Welcome to [our city]" Opening it up, suddenly the truth about Dafa and the self-immolation is revealed. There is a small section about what exactly is Falun Dafa. Chinese people who didn't know much about Falun Gong before the persecution started have been completely deceived by the propaganda. The backside of the flyer is white. Everything looks like friendly information for tourists.

The best results we have achieved so far is to hand them out to a single person, usually the last one walking in a large group of tourists. To rush into these groups and give everyone of them a flyer isn't efficient, since everyone in the group is monitoring each other. If one of them speaks out that it is Falun Dafa, the whole group will become tense create obstacles to the truth clarification activity.

For some time I had been thinking about clarifying the truth to Chinese tourists face to face in order to break completely through the propaganda that has deceived them. One evening while handing out flyers to tourists as usual, I offered flyers to two Chinese tourists. They refused to take them. Later I sat on a bench in the sightseeing area and they sat down beside me! I again offered the flyers to them and they took them this time. I told them it is something very special. After they realized what the flyers contained, I began to tell them-in very short sentences- the hidden points of the Tiananmen self-immolation while pointing at the pictures in the flyer. The points I covered were:

1. "Western doctors have said that after an emergency cut at the throat, it is impossible to speak for several weeks, but these people gave interviews after 3-4 days!" - I switched calmly and quick to the next point:
2. "After seeing the people burning, the reporter who filmed the incident must have run to the building next to Tiananmen and asked the security to let him go to roof of the government building, explaining to him because there are people burning on the square! How long does he need to get to the roof to film? The incident was finished after 1 or 2 minutes!"

The old lady in the interview said the practitioner have drunken one and a half bottles of benzine before going to the square. A normal person is dead in few minutes after drinking two small glasses!

I felt I was able to discuss everything I wanted to cover. Both were very moved and after I finished, they tried to leave me courteously. As they were leaving, I wished them a very nice stay in our City. Maybe two cosmic systems have been saved.

Later another point I could have told them came to mind. It was that, "J.Z. claims that Falun Gong wants to overthrow the government. But were any cases where policemen were shot or street terror done by any Falun Dafa practitioners?" and, "This man on the self-immolation film is sitting in a completely wrong sitting position. Maybe it is Yoga, but it is not from Falun Gong. Shouldn't a person who is willing to sacrifice his life at least know how to do the exercises positions correctly?"

One of our next projects will be to prepare a small board showing the man sitting in the wrong position after the "self-immolation." Short explanations will describe the facts in big characters visible from several meters distance. Two other small pictures will show his photo "before" and another one showing the correct sitting position. If a group of tourists are passing by, each of them will get the message by observing the upright poster board within 3-5 seconds without having to stop walking or to leave their group.

Because we felt we should not give the evil a chance to intervene in our righteous actions here, I left out the specific details of location in this report. But I can say that this has occurred somewhere in Europe.
