(Clearwisdom.net) The Pingdingshan City's Bailou Forced Labor Camp in Henan Province, recently hijacked fourteen Falun Gong practitioners. Since 2000, the Bailou Forced Labor Camp authorities have continued to cause physical injury to Falun Gong practitioners, to violate and to deprive their rights. The police in the forced labor camp instigated some prisoners to attack Falun Gong practitioners and to extort articles for daily use from the practitioners. If not completely satisfied, they would beat and kick the practitioners. On March 25, 2002, when Falun Gong practitioner Wei Kunfeng was talking with other practitioners, Guo Yingrui, the guard on duty, called Wei to his guardroom, saying that Wei had practiced the Falun Gong exercises. He double tied Wei with a rope and then threw him into a solitary confinement cell.
On March 27, the camp police transferred eight Falun Gong practitioners from the logistic team to the strict control team. Under the instigation of Shao Bing, a camp police officer, they threw a cotton-padded overcoat over two practitioners' heads, and then more than a dozen people beat the practitioners, causing injuries all over the practitioners' bodies. Later, they dragged the practitioners into a guardroom and beat them again. They finally stopped beating the practitioners, fearing they might kill them.
Later, Guo Yingrui and his gang of more than twenty people gathered the police in the managing section patrol team. They took turns torturing the eight practitioners. When the eight practitioners told them that what they were doing violated the Police Administration Law, Guo Yingrui's gang didn't give up. They dragged the practitioners into a dark room and brutally beat them again. Furthermore, they instructed other patrol team members to tie up the practitioners with rope. The practitioners were unable to climb up into their beds for many days after the torture [because of their injuries]. They then sent four practitioners, including Sun Yaomin, to Xuchang City's Mental Hospital in Henan Province. The practitioners were tortured until they became mentally unstable and were then taken back to the city again. The police lied to the public, claiming that the practitioners became mentally ill because of practicing Falun Gong.
On April 5, the forced labor camp authorities played the same old trick again. They let some prisoners who didn't know what was going on deliver some unknown water in a special container for Wei to drink. They then psychologically tortured Wei under the guise of having a conversation. Later, the police at the forced labor camp intentionally opened the lock to Wei's confinement cell and faked a story of him breaking out of confinement. They then instigated Zhao Yingbin and Zhang Chengli, (two prisoners) to beat Wei, leaving blood and bloodstains all over the hallway. Because Wei Kunfeng refused to give up his belief [in Falun Gong], he was beaten and tortured many times in the labor camp.
The deputy captain, He Jinzhong, was very cruel and evil. He led his people to tie two ropes to Wei, which caused him to break out in a cold sweat all over his body. Wei lost consciousness after he returned to his cell. After the incident was reported to the police, the reporting person dressed Wei up, and then carried him to the education room into the cold air. Later, other people became concerned that Wei would freeze. After asking the police, they were allowed to lay a blanket down in the education room. At that moment, Wei had no pulse. On the second day, the police had two prisoners drag Wei out of the education room again. To avoid their responsibilities, the lawless police called all the Falun Gong practitioners together and said, "Wei is pretending [to be dead]."
The persecution still continues. The above police abused their power torturing practitioners with cruel means and what they have done is completely inhuman. We warn those police officers and the forced labor camp staff that have been persecuting Dafa practitioners, don't continue to commit crimes; otherwise, you will be punished by the heavenly principle.
