They illegally sent dozens of Falun Gong practitioners to forced labor camps to be brainwashed.
In early April 2002, three police officers from this unit again took a female practitioner to Nanmusi Labor Camp in Zizhong City. On the way back, they were involved in a car accident. The instructor of the National Security Task Force, Yang Guangyao, male, 47 years old died on the scene. Ding Yang, male, over 30 years old, broke his foot and has been in a semi-comatose state in the hospital since. Li Juan, female, twenty some years old, broke her hand and sustained internal injuries.
