On May 13, 2002, Toronto practitioners celebrated "World Falun Dafa Day" and "Canada Falun Dafa Festival" at Nathan Phillips Square in front of City Hall.

Today some provincial legislative members attended the festivities of the Canada Falun Dafa Festival. One council member stated, "Falun Dafa is recognized by the Canadian people. At the same time, we doní t allow any persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners to happen in Canada."
Many people viewed the "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition.
