An Austrian Falun Gong follower was arrested in the northern Chinese city of Changchun today, so reports the Falun Dafa Information Center.
Austrians have distributed flyers on this, the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of Falun Gong, to raise awareness of the persecution of the followers in China, as is reported in a press release.
The Foreign Office has been informed
The center related further that a phone call to the Austrian, where he let his contact know that he is being held at a police station was interrupted. Since then there has been no contact with him and his whereabouts are unknown.

Foreign Practitioners Deported
In February of this year, about thirty Falun Gong practitioners from the United States and Germany had been arrested in Beijing and were shortly thereafter deported to their home countries.
At the end of April, 2,000 people were arrested in Changchun.
