1. [China] Large Scale Arrests of Falun Dafa Practitioners
According to the news, Jiang's evil regime plans to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners in large numbers before April 25. In just one provincial capital city in northern China they want to arrest 3,000 people. Also, there is the so-called "quota." Regardless of the real situation, their task must be accomplished according to the "plan." It is reported that this plan of persecution is nationwide.
We hope that fellow practitioners who see this news can send forth righteous thoughts to completely eradicate the evil in other dimensions, making this conspiracy to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners fail.
2. [Beijing] Insidious Means Used by the Female Forced Labor Camp of Beijing City to Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners
The Female Forced Labor Camp of Beijing ( formerly called the Tiantanghe, Xin'an Forced Labor Camp) is located in Tiangongyuan, Daxing County, Beijing City, and is mainly for illegally detaining female Falun Dafa practitioners. When Jiang's regime stepped up the persecution, the former location was not big enough. Therefore, in 2000, it moved from the former Tiantanghe Forced Labor Camp to Xin'an Forced Labor Camp. Now, it has moved again and changed its name to the Female Forced Labor Camp of Beijing City. It holds nearly 1,000 detainees at the moment. The number of people detained there continues to increase. About 100 are common criminals, the rest are all Falun Dafa practitioners.
This forced labor camp has used extremely vicious means to torture Falun Dafa practitioners. As soon as a Falun Dafa practitioner comes into the forced labor camp, there are collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture], taking turns to brainwash and monitor her 24 hours a day. If the brainwashing does not work, they will change their strategy. Under the instigation of the team leader, they either deprive the Falun Dafa practitioners of sleep for long periods of time or only allow the practitioner to sleep 2 to 3 hours a day. They force the practitioners to fix their eyes on the wall, touch the tips of their noses against the wall, stand straight with their hands on the seams of their pants, then raise their arms flat and, with their feet together, bend their heads down to their knees. The evil police also force the practitioners to squat down or stand with their hands pulled up and held up to the highest point position, hips pointing up (the body in this position looks like an airplane). The practitioners are forced to stay in these positions for a long time. The criminals have been encouraged to beat the Falun Dafa practitioners, to cover and seal the practitioners' mouths using tape, to take turns torturing them, to strip off their clothes to beat them, etc.The evil police pretend that they do not see any of the above seriously illegal acts. Afterwards, the thugs receive "rewards" such as food, articles of everyday use, or mitigation of their sentences.
Now, as the persecution has been stepped up, the forced labor camp has illegally detained even more innocent Falun Dafa practitioners and had to be moved to the female forced labor camp right in front of Tiantanghe Hospital in order to accommodate them.

3. [Macao] Falun Dafa Practitioners in Macao Hold Candlelight Vigil on Qingming Holiday (Tomb-sweeping Day) to Mourn Practitioners Who Have Died from the Persecution
At 8:00 pm on the eve of the Qingming Holiday, Falun Dafa practitioners in Macao held a candlelight vigil in the park right in front of the Chinese Liaison Office to mourn for the Falun Dafa practitioners tortured to death by Jiang's regime. They also sent forth righteous thoughts three times, firmly eradicating all the evil that damages Dafa, lessening the persecution of Changchun Falun Dafa practitioners by the evil, and supporting all the Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China. 4. [Laiwu City, Shandong Province] A Falun Dafa Material Site is Destroyed, Three Falun Dafa Practitioners are Arrested
On April 8, 2002, a Falun Dafa material site in Laiwu City, Shandong Province, was destroyed, and three Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested. Their whereabouts is unknown.
5. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners are Illegally Arrested
On the evening of April 10, the evil policemen from Xinli Police Station in Jiamusi City went to ransack the home of Liu Xueyi and found Falun Dafa materials. They tricked Liu by telling him they would like to have a talk with him and then illegally arrested this Falun Dafa practitioner. Later, the policemen sent him to the detention center in Jiamusi City for persecution.
In early April, the evil policemen from the Qianjin District Police Department in Jiamusi City went to ransack the home of practitioner Han Dong and found Falun Dafa materials. She was illegally arrested and put in the detention center for persecution.

6. [Wenjiang County, Sichuan Province] Lawless Officials in the 7111 Factory Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners
Retired worker Wang Meizhen (female) of the 7111 factory in Wenjiang County, Sichuan Province, together with some relatives of the factory workers, went to Beijing to speak for justice for Falun Dafa in November 2001. Before she went up to the gate tower of Tiananmen, she was forcibly searched and her banner "Falun Dafa is Good" was discovered. The police notified her work unit to take her home. After she came back, Director Li of the local police station asked several people to send Wang Meizhen to the detention center. The work unit charged Wang Meizhen and Yu Qiuhua with expenses, including cigarettes and meals. Wang Meizhen had to pay more than 14,000 Yuan and Yu Qiuhua, 11,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly salary of an urban worker.] The 610 Office [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] of Wenjiang County has imposed a fine on the factory of 30,000 Yuan per person per time for anyone who goes to appeal and a fine on the leader of the factory of 1,000 Yuan per person per time. The secretary of the factory, Jia Yongfu, personally signed an order that all expenses must be paid by the practitioners. Yu Qiuhua is a relative of one of the workers and could not afford the 31,000 Yuan fine. She was sent to a detention center and illegally sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. Currently she is being detained in Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong City, Sichuan Province. The factory continued to withhold the salaries of Yu Qiuhua's husband to the extent that in January, before the Spring Festival, only a few dimes were left. Since Wang Meizhen firmly refused to write a statement promising "not to practice Falun Dafa," the factory regularly withheld her pension but did not give her any receipts, either for the pension or the fines, because they were afraid she would go again to Beijing to appeal on the basis of these injustices.
For the past two years the factory has deducted varying amounts from the salaries of workers Wang Liudi and Tang Shifeng, simply because they spoke up for justice for Falun Dafa and have persisted in practicing Falun Gong.
These practitioners just went to appeal and adhered to their beliefs according to the basic rights endowed by the "constitution" but were treated unfairly. Secretary Jia Yongfu of the Party Committee of the factory, the 610 Office of Wenjiang County, and the Police Department must bear the responsibility for all the serious consequences of these persecutions.

7. [Hebei Province] Brainwashing Class Uses Collaborators to Mentally Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners
Most of the main "administrative personnel" in the brainwashing class in Hebei Province are police officers, and most of the "assistants" are former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture. When Falun Dafa practitioners are arrested or tricked into the brainwashing class, collaborators were brought in to mentally persecute the Falun Dafa practitioners. The means of persecution included:
1. Using the collaborators to take turns continuously brainwashing the Falun Dafa practitioners through constant talking.
2. Depriving practitioners of sleep and instilling evil ideas day and night. When Falun Dafa practitioners become sleepy, collaborators beat a gong by the practitioners' ears, grab their ears, scratch their ribs, pull their eyelids, strike the table, and shout loudly to keep them from falling asleep.
3. Asking family members and fellow workers from the work units to accompany the practitioners in the brainwashing class. The collaborators instill the practitioners' family members and fellow workers with false ideas in order to provoke their blind hatred of Falun Dafa. The purpose of this maliciousness is to exert more pressure to brainwash the practitioners.
4. When the practitioners go on hunger strike, collaborators will force feed the practitioners. Having the tubes inserted is such torture that some people are forced to accept the brainwashing.
5. Even after they have complied, some people are still forced to attend the 3-month brainwashing class in order to make sure they have completely given up practicing Falun Dafa. Such vicious and cruel mental persecution is a brutal deprivation of Falun Dafa practitioners' basic human rights.
8. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] For Disclosing the Truth about the Persecution, Falun Dafa Practitioner Li Wutang Is Brutally Persecuted by Police in Liuchangshan Forced Labor Camp in Jinan City
Falun Dafa practitioner Li Wutang revealed that another practitioner Liu Jian had been tortured to death in Liuchangshan Forced Labor Camp in Jinan City, and wrote letters to the heads of the provincial and the city's Forced Labor Departments, disclosing the criminal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by the police and criminals in the forced labor camp. As a result, he was persecuted by the police in Liuchangshan Forced Labor Camp. They deprived him of sleep, and further communication with outsiders or officials from the Forced Labor Department. (Before being sealed and mailed, all letters written by Falun Dafa practitioners are examined by the police.)
After the incident, Liu, head of the forced labor camp, prompted policeman Cui Wei to hold an immediate meeting for the concerned personnel, where they sought unity in talking and spread a rumor that Li Wutang made trouble and refused to sleep. Cui Wei has detained Li Wutang together with criminals in the forced labor camp, and physically tortured him for nearly a month. It is unknown whether he is still alive.
The persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in this labor camp has been escalating. They sent many practitioners including Fu Haiyan to the Provincial Forced Labor Camp in Wangcun Town of Zibo City. They forcibly brainwashed the practitioners, intensified the persecution and blocked information.

9. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Vicious Police and Criminals in Panjin City's Forced Labor Camp Brutally Torture and Beat Falun Dafa Practitioners
Falun Dafa practitioner Xin Minduo, who was illegally detained in Panjin City's Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province, has been on a hunger strike for over 80 days, and continues, in an extremely weak condition. Policeman Tang Xiaobiao punched and kicked him all over his body, causing bruises on his face. Tang also brutally beat other Falun Dafa practitioners. Policeman Chen Changli brutally beat Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Guangqing. Under his direction, criminals took part in persecuting Liu Guangqing, hanging him by cuffed hands to the door of the ward, with both feet off the ground.
10. [Zizhong City, Sichuan Province] Vicious Police in Nanmusi Female Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong City Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners Both Physically And Mentally
Vicious police in Nanmusi Female Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong City, Sichuan Province adopted contemptible means to torture steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners both physically and mentally. After being imprisoned, all Falun Dafa practitioners were immediately detained in the Fifth squadron, where female criminals are jailed for drug abuse, prostitution and robbery. The prisoners watch practitioners 24 hours, not even letting them use the restroom during the day. From 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., they were forced to undergo the physical torture of "clinging to the wall" (standing straight and absolutely still with their feet pressing against the wall, and hands lifted up high on the wall.) The practitioners were not given water to drink. Once they saw the practitioners put down their hands or open their mouths, the criminals would brutally beat and curse them.
Practitioners who gave in and signed "statements of repentance" were immediately sent to the Seventh, Eighth or Ninth squadrons. The rest, who refused to renounce their beliefs, were detained in the Fifth squadron for at least 3 or 4 months. Some were even detained there for 5 months before being sent on to the other squadrons. These three squadrons, particularly the Seventh, were the cruelest in the labor camp for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners,. Almost every day, they broadcast propaganda slandering Falun Dafa or the collaborators [former practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] read articles defaming Falun Dafa, forcing steadfast practitioners to listen. Film crews from the local TV station came many times to fabricate propaganda.
Even under such conditions, in order to safeguard Falun Dafa, some practitioners persisted in practicing the exercises, some recited Teacher's articles, and some disclosed that all the media and TV propaganda were lies. They all refused to cooperate with the plot of the TV station. Angered from humiliation, the guards brutally tortured these practitioners. They shocked or handcuffed them, confined them in a solitary compartment, gagged them with towels, yanked their hair, slapped their faces, kicked and punched them in a frenzy, forbid them drinking water or toilet use, threw them into the scorching sun or torrential rain etc. From 6:30 a.m. to midnight the practitioners were forced to stand in "army posture". This long-term physical and mental torture has become a common occurrence. Despite this brutal persecution, Falun Dafa practitioners would not yield. They all refused to cooperate with the evil, and firmly safeguard the Fa. Slowly, one after another, they are being released.
11. [Liaoning Province] Strengthen Fa-study and Avoid Deception by Corrupt People
Recently, a practitioner in Liaoning was arrested under false charges. The police claimed, "A practitioner told me you have done a lot of Dafa work. You see, she has pressed her fingerprint on the confession record." Later, this practitioner asked the one alleged to have provided the false evidence and found that the police were simply lying. These deceitful plots by the police are simply evil and inexcusable. We hope fellow practitioners will be alert. We should read the book more and look at things from the perspective of the Fa. We must maintain our powerful strength as a whole and cannot under any circumstance be used by these vicious people.

Since Falun Dafa was spread in Dujiangyan City of Sichuan Province in 1995, the number of Falun Gong practitioners continues to rise sharply. 1. Chen Ying is from Sun Village of Shijiazhuang City. After being sent to the Labor Camp, she "enlightened" along an evil path. She presently goes to Qiaodong District Brainwashing Class in Shijiazhuang City to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Her home phone number is 86-311-6103451.

She now collaborates with Chen Ying and her colleague Liu Yan to brainwash and persecute Falun Dafa practitioners in Qiaodong District Brainwashing Class in Shijiazhuang City. 3. Feng Shuhe lives in Majiagou Branch of Kailuan Mining Bureau. Out of fear, after April 25, 1999, Feng Shuhe acted as a special agent for the local police department on his own initiative. He betrayed the head of Tangshan Assistance Center, Zhang Xiuzhen, vice-heads Ma Yongsan, Meng Tielin, Wang Ji, and over 100 assistants. After that, Feng showed repentance. He started to practice the exercises again, and even printed some flyers in 2000. But in early 2001, he was betrayed by the collaborator Zhang Guilan, arrested, and again shamefully cooperated with the persecution. This time, he betrayed over ten practitioners who kept in contact with him and his own wife, son and daughter-in-law. Feng Shuhe also inquired through many channels about the situation of the practice site in Fengrun New District. As a result, vice-head of Tangshan Assistance Center Meng Tielin was arrested many times, and some truth-clarifying material sites in Fengrun New District were destroyed.
