(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioners from Changchun City broadcasted the truth of Dafa to over a million viewers through a local cable network. This courageous action broke the monopoly of the Jiang regime over the mass media in China, exposed the numerous lies they created to deceive the people, and enabled the public to see the real situation of Falun Dafa being embraced all over the world. It provided the cable TV viewers the opportunity to see through the deception and lies. In addition, through word of mouth, it will enable more people to know the truth.
Being respectful and inspired by these actions, I also had such an idea: The truth clarification activities outside China by means of making phone calls, sending faxes, mailing materials and using the Internet, etc. were not as in-depth and direct as what is done by practitioners in China. Although we are kept busy day in and day out, our progress seems very slow. Sometimes a couple of hours pass before we can make a few phone calls or send a few faxes. Sometimes when we clarify the truth on the Internet, several hours may easily be spent but not many people have heard our voice. It looks like we are making slow progress in saving so many sentient beings being deceived in China. It's truly an excellent idea to clarify the truth to people in China by using the radio or TV facilities already in place. With this idea in my mind, I did not give as much attention to making phone calls and mailing materials as before, as if I were waiting for something.
One following night, I had a dream: A fire broke out somehow and I was helping people in a panic to get out of the fire. When I woke up the next morning, I immediately examined my own thoughts and behavior recently and discovered that I had a heart of slackness and the pursuit of wanting quick results. I was enlightened to: With the Fa-rectification entering the final stage, every Dafa practitioner is shouldering the historic task of saving sentient beings. Dafa practitioners inside and outside China are all of one body. Since the evil group in China constantly uses the media to make up rumors and create lies, the general public has had many misunderstandings regarding Dafa. Only if we persistently and collectively clarify the truth from different angles, from different perspectives and with great patience can the layers upon layers of contamination in people's minds, be cleaned out and the heavily poisoned sentient beings be saved. A phone call, a fax, a CD-Rom, or a truth-clarifying article may look trivial, but they promise opportunities of a bright future for sentient beings. It may take us a great deal of time to help a person see through the real face of the evil, but that means a life being saved. He may come from a remote cosmos with which numerous universes and paradises are connected and where countless lives and sentient beings flourish. If so, they will be saved and have the hope of returning to their original places because that single person is saved. Who can say that those few hours are not well worth it?
In "To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference", Master said:
"So in clarifying the truth, don't wait, don't rely on others, and don't just hope for changes in external factors. Every one of us is creating history for the future, that's why everyone is not only participating in group activities, but also taking the initiative to look for things to do. As long as something is good for Dafa, you should take the initiative to do it, take the initiative to work on it. Every person you come into contact with in society is someone to clarify the truth to, and what's manifest in clarifying the truth is Dafa disciples' mercy and their salvation of the world's people. I hope that every Dafa disciple will fully take initiative and fully play his role as a Dafa disciple."
I believe that with the further progress of the Fa-rectification and the joint effort of all practitioners, the day will not be far off when Dafa's truth will sweep through Mainland China. Nevertheless, I will not slack off, because saving people is as urgent as putting out a fire. Clarifying the truth demands sparing no time and does not allow for slackness.
