The Future World

Today, all the people in the world hold expectations and dreams about the future, hoping that the future will be full of grace. Truthfulness, kindness, and virtue will fill the nations we live in, bringing with them a world of freedom, peace, and safety.

That is the hope, but look around! Is there any country, any region, or any corner of the world without evil? Danger lurks everywhere. Where is there a pure land, and how do we get there? Family problems and social problems are pervasive. This world has been steadily deteriorating. We must get to the root of the problem; that is, the disappearance of a righteous spiritual direction. Loss of morality has led our thoughts astray. Doesn't this push the human heart to the brink?

The founder of Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi, in his book, Zhuan Falun, has revealed that truthfulness, benevolence, and forbearance are the fundamental characteristics of the universe. Accepting and assimilating to these principles leads to a life that is full of vitality. Failing it, life could very well take the path of self-destruction. At the present time, looking at the unhealthy tendencies of society and the chaos of the world, doesn't the situation prove what Master proclaims? Isn't resuming our true nature and seeking righteous thoughts the only way to salvage the world?

Over the past two years, more than three hundred Falun Gong practitioners in China have lost their lives just because of persisting in their righteous faith of Falun Gong. Under such tremendous persecution by the Chinese government, practitioners successfully validated the indestructibility of Falun Dafa. They prove time after time that Falun Dafa is in harmony with the world; truthfulness, benevolence, forbearance are genuine laws of the universe.

We gather here today in Tiananmen Square simply to deliver our support to all Falun Gong practitioners in China and to clarify the truth that has been falsified by the evil. Amongst us are those from different countries and different races; we can freely exercise and cultivate what we believe in our own countries. But, in the whole world, China is the only place a practitioner has to suffer this ruthless persecution. Obviously, it is due to the lack of human rights and freedom of belief.

While we risk danger to demonstrate our faith to Falun Dafa, when we call out "Falun Dafa is good," that great force is sacrosanct, that voice from deep in the heart is shaking the heavens and the earth.

I sincerely hope that all Chinese people will realize that Falun Dafa is the righteous law. It is also the great way to reverse the degeneration of today's world, and the key to ending corruption in society and restoring the way of virtue.

Justice always prevails. Persecution has never succeeded in history. All Dafa practitioners treasure our life, family, and country. We believe that only the truth can save us from the precipice, only kindness can dissolved hatred, and only forbearance can stop the fighting. The day Falun Dafa has reached all corners of the world may well be the day we find a peaceful world.
