When I went to a small shop to use the pay phone, the owner avidly talked to me. When we talked about Falun Gong, she thought what was shown on T.V. was not right, and she was not completely convinced about what was in the Falun Gong truth clarification VCD either, so she really wanted to talk to a practitioner face to face. I answered her questions, one by one, and we talked for a long time.

I helped my mother regain her opportunity for salvation.

Soon after I obtained the Fa in 1997, I had a dream in which I saw my mother and many others trapped by a flood. Because of this, I went home, and my mother obtained the Fa that same day.

My mother is a peasant and her legs are stiff. She had never sat in the lotus position, so she asked her young nephew to help her fold her legs. She even did the fifth exercise [the sitting meditation] for one hour. My mother doesn't know how to read, but soon after she studied the Fa, she was able to read Zhuan Falun from cover to cover. Her celestial eye was also opened and she could see Falun spinning whenever she closed her eyes. Not long after, the evil's ever-escalating persecution against Dafa intimidated my mother, and the lies blanketing the earth deceived many people. Unfortunately, my mother believed those brainwashing lies spread by the media.

I was worried for my mother because she gave up cultivation, and I knew I had to help. I called her and wrote her a letter. My mother said she still has Dafa book(s) and is practicing at home. She is in great health and doesn't need to go to a hospital at all. Her previous doubts about Dafa were cleared up and she uses whatever opportunity she has to clarify the truth to people. I encouraged her to cultivate diligently and told her how to clarify the truth to more people and offer salvation to people.
