In early November of this year, about ten Falun Dafa practitioners from Medan, Indonesia, went to Brastagi, a tourist resort about 80 miles from Medan, to introduce Falun Dafa and clarify the true situation to tourists and local Chinese residents. The results were pretty good.
Medan is a beautiful city north of Sumatra, Indonesia, with a large percentage of Chinese residents. Many Chinese people in other areas of Indonesia originally came from Medan, so the attitude of Chinese residents there towards Dafa has a profound impact on the Chinese people in all of Indonesia. Jiang's regime has chosen Medan as a central base to spread vicious lies and rumors about Falun Dafa to the Indonesian Chinese and the general public, and has also sent false materials to the Indonesia government to slander Falun Dafa.
Despite this, over the past 3 years, the Dafa practitioners in Medan have persevered in clarifying the true situation of Falun Dafa to their Indonesian Chinese friends and to all levels of the Indonesian government. As the lies have been shredded apart one by one, the Indonesian Chinese are now saying: "This is really a disgrace for Jiang's regime."
This time, our efforts at the Brastagi resort made the truth known to even more overseas Chinese people, and was welcomed by the local Indonesian residents as well. They asked for Dafa materials and some of them started to learn the Falun Dafa exercises right on the spot.
Through this activity, the Dafa practitioners felt the earnestness of this period of time and realized that we should do as Teacher says, "Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them." ("Hurry Up And Tell Them")
