Facts of the Persecution
Dafa practitioner Xu Zhaobin from Anshan City, Liaoning Province successfully escaped after being shot by lawless police on February 16. On October 22, he was arrested while staying at a fellow practitioner's home in Kangping County. Liu Suying and two other practitioners were also arrested. The police then looted their property. It is said that the arrest happened after Xu Zhaobin's cell phone signal was monitored.
Female Dafa practitioner Li Baojie was kidnapped at the South Station in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province on October 21. She went on a hunger strike to protest her illegal detention. She refused to give out her name and address. Later she was detained in Shenyang Heping Detention Center for a while. Afterwards, she was transferred to Shenyang City Detention Center. The police had planned to interrogate her and sentence her to a prison term. She was also denied visitation by her family members. So far, she has been fasting for 17 days. Her current situation is unknown.

At the beginning of 2002, due to the lack of truth-clarifying materials, I started to record programs produced by FGM TV Center with a cassette player. The programs include topics that the common people are interested in, such as the April 25th peaceful appeal at Zhongnanhai, the staged "Tiananmen Self-Immolation," why we go to Tiananmen, the killing cases in Beijing, the wide spread of Falun Dafa in the world, etc. Since cassette players are very popular in China, after people with predestined relationship get these cassettes, they may give them out to their friends or family members. They may even make more copies to pass to others. Plus it is very convenient to do so. If a practitioner can make 4 to 5 copies everyday, he can then hand them out when he goes out shopping or running errands. If 100 practitioners would like to do this, then even more people can be saved.
