The World Journal reported on October 22 that several organizations would be holding a thousand-people parade in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco on October 28, 2002. The participants will include Amnesty International, Falun Gong, Tibet Association in Northern California, Friends of Tibet in the Bay Area, San Francisco Tibetan Youth Congress, The United States Weiwuer Association, Chinese Democratic Front, American Association of Chinese from Hong Kong, Chinese Democratic Party, China Foundation of 21st Century, Chinese Democratic Supporters Association, Chinese Democracy Enhancement Association in Silicon Valley, Chinese Democracy Supporters Association in California Capitol, Chinese Democratic Education Foundation, and activists in Chinese democratic movement and student bodies in the Bay Area.

Case 1: I was illegally detained many times by police because I went to Beijing to appeal. In June 2000, I was illegally sent to Panjin Forced Labor Camp for distributing truth clarifying materials. The evil police treated me violently and tried to brainwash me, but were not able to alter my belief in Dafa no matter what they did. I went back to join force with other Fa-rectification efforts after being cruelly tortured for one and half years. I often went with fellow practitioners to post or distribute flyers, display posters, and tell the true facts to the farmers. Through studying Fa and looking inward, I gradually broke through the state of human beings. I frequently sent forth righteous thoughts and had very good results.
Case 2: I was illegally arrested 7 times because I wanted to say something fair for Falun Gong. I was jailed at least once in almost all forced-labor camps in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Masanjia Labor Camp was the worst, which has used the dirtiest tricks to torture me and to brainwash me. In my prison time totaling one year and eight months, I have gone on hunger strikes for nearly 100 days. I have been beaten up and tortured numerous times, and twice almost died. Because the Chinese government implemented a policy of holding the relatives of Falun Gong practitioners responsible for the practitioners' actions, my husband and my daughter were forced to annul all relationships with me. To escape the persecution, I was forced to abandon my home and leave my hometown.
