Cases of Persecution
Case 1: Before practicing Falun Gong I suffered from leukemia, chronic headaches and other illnesses. Since I began practicing Falun Gong in 1996, all of my illnesses disappeared. I finally became a healthy person. On April 18, 2001, I was kidnapped and sent to the Labor Education Center of Panjin City for not giving up practicing Falun Gong. The vicious policewomen Yi Xiuyan, Liu Jing, Cai Li and others tortured me for a long time. They hung me against an iron door using two handcuffs on my hands. They beat me with a baton and kicked me. I was forced to stand with my knees bent, with my waist bent, squat, and turn around while squatting. The police also pinched and bent my arms, my legs and my belly. I spit blood many times after the torture.
Case 2: I was kidnapped by the vicious police for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in November 2000. After 18 days of torture I was illegally sentenced to 3 years of "labor re-education." In March 2001 I practiced Falun Gong exercises in the labor camp. I was beaten and my head and ears were injured. I could feel the air in my ears when breathing, which lasted for a couple of months. In November 2001 I was brutally persecuted for hunger striking. I was tied up, forced to sit on a bench with bricks under my feet, and was force-fed many times. My right arm and my legs were injured. I could hardly breathe and fainted frequently.
