The British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Friends of Falun Gong Association has been officially established. The membership is made up primarily of people in the British Columbia province who are devoted to human rights. The first work of the Association is appealing to the Prime Minister to convey the Canadian people's concern over the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China to Jiang during the 2002 APEC Conference soon to be held in Mexico. The establishment of FOFG British Columbia has played an extremely positive role in the nationwide, large-scale postcard campaign to rescue Canadians' family members persecuted in China.
