A World Journal October 18^th report stated that Falun Gong practitioners in the Boston area held a press conference at the square in front of the city government building around 12:00 p.m. on October 17^th. They hoped that through their voices and additional pressure from various sources, their family members who are being persecuted in China for practicing Falun Gong would regain freedom. This is part of the rescue activity held in the U.S. Several groups of car convoys have started out from various major U.S. cities and will arrive in Texas. These practitioners hope that President Bush will propose the issue of the persecution against Falun Gong to the Chinese head of state Jiang, who will be visiting the U.S.A.

An October 15^th report from the United States: U.S. President Bush's assistants hold a weekly one-hour prayer and Bible study session. Although President Bush does not attend the study session, he kneels and prays every morning and reads and studies the Bible everyday. Past U.S. government administrations held similar Bible study activities.

News Commentary and Opinion

CCTV Focal Point Interview workers will certainly receive punishment from the law. The Focal Point Interview program made up countless lies and was broadcast over a large area. It slandered and framed Dafa practitioners and deceived all Chinese people. The workers went to local areas where they threatened, enticed and persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in a 10:1 ratio. They dragged down good people and made up Dafa-slandering T.V. programs according to their base schemes. The Focal Point Interview program slandered all practitioners and all Chinese people around the world, deceiving them with their lies. The people who work for Focal Point Interview have committed unforgivable crimes and will certainly be punished by law in the future.

Right now, tapping into cable TV network incidents have been happening one after another. One successful tapping and broadcast will instantly and completely awaken and save people from the poison of the vicious lies that delude the world's people. They will therefore have a bright future and be saved. The dictator is afraid of his lies being exposed, and that he'll no longer be able to uphold his rule of dictatorship.

Escaping Arrest With Righteous Thoughts

I am a Dafa practitioner living in north China. In last August, evil thugs destroyed our materials site. In addition, these vile people subsequently broke into my home and ransacked it. I calmly clarified the truth to the police officers and asked Master to help me that I shall never be taken away by the evil.

After I sent out this thought, I immediately fell to the ground and got a huge bump on my head. My old heart attack symptoms reappeared, my blood pressure rose and my heart stopped beating. My husband called for an ambulance and for my children. At that point the thugs stopped their ransacking.

Although I had the above symptoms, my mind was extraordinarily clear. I continuously recited the Fa-rectification verse in my heart. During the trip to the hospital, the vicious police officers twice requested to send me to the police department, but the doctor said, "Are you going to take the responsibility if she dies?" With Master's benevolent protection, I was sent into a hospital.

The evil police thugs slipped away after failing to achieve their goal, and the only person left was a police officer at the hospital door. I clearly realized this was Master creating an opportunity for me to escape, so I firmly pulled out all tubes from my body and walked out of the hospital while reciting the Fa-rectification verse.
