The Urgency We Could Hardly Sense in the Maze

Although saving sentient beings is such a critical and urgent task, we have all been, to some degree, burdened and polluted by the dust within the three realms. As a result, we are unable to sense the importance of this task, and are unable to realize its awesome magnitude. With our human eyes and ears we've all seen and heard Teacher's message, "Hurry up and tell them:" "Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them." To some degree on the surface we're all aware of the urgency of saving sentient beings, yet how well do we sense how truly urgent this is?

Dafa Practitioner Sun Jihong from Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province Kidnapped and Killed by Beijing Police

Dafa practitioner Sun Jihong was an employee of the Hua'nan County Forestry Bureau in Heilongjiang Province. On January 7, 2001, he was forced to leave home in order to avoid further persecution. Since then, he had been doing truth-clarification work in Beijing. On February 4, 2002, the day dedicated as Beijing Falun Dafa Day, he went to Tiananmen to appeal. Shortly after he unfurled his banner, he was arrested. He went on a hunger strike to protest and was released 14 days later. On the night of May 10, 2002, some one reported him to the police, who then took him away from the place where he lived and ransacked that place. While in detention, he firmly resisted the evil persecution and went on a hunger strike to protest. The police force fed him, but they failed in their efforts to force anything into him. On the ninth day, there happened to be some policemen from Hua'nan County Forestry Bureau who came to Beijing to pick up another Dafa practitioner. Beijing police had intended to send Sun Jihong to a labor camp. However, seeing they could not shake his firm belief in Dafa no matter what means they tried, they let the Huanan police take him back. On the way back to Huanan County, he kept sending forth righteous thoughts and successfully jumped out of the train and escaped.

Practitioner Yang Qingmin Killed by the Police from Xishan Coal & Electric Cooperation, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 21, 2000, police officers from the Guandi Mine Police Station kidnapped Dafa practitioner Yang Qingmin, an employee of Xishan Coal & Electric Cooperation, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, and killed him the same night. The murderers carried Yang Qingmin's body to the top of the tall dam behind building #2 of the Guandi Mine and threw his body off the dam. They lied to the local people that Yang Qingmin fell off the dam by himself and he was already dead before they sent him to the hospital. The murderers of Guandi Mine Police Station were afraid of bearing the responsibility, so they plotted with Wei Zhanjun, the deputy secretary of the Guandi Mine Party Committee to deal with the death as a "work related death." Many people still don't know the truth to this day.
