From January 21 to 25, 2002, Falun Gong Study Association held a five-day "Tainan Winter Vacation Falun Gong Intensive Study and Practicing Camp for Teachers" in the Huaguo Primary School under the direction of the Department of Education, Tainan City. The Department of Education hoped that the study camp would relieve the teachers' pressure, improve their health physically and mentally, promote life and moral education and purify people's mind in the society.
The Falun Gong Study and Practicing Camp for Teachers held last year had a big impact. Many teachers became healthy and tried to teach their students using the Falun Dafa principle of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance after returning to their schools. Some of them set up practice and study groups. Many students had a big change in both behavior and scholastic improvement. Thus, during this winter vacation, 21 counties and cities all over Taiwan held Falun Gong study and practice camps. The speaker for the Falun Gong Study Association said, "To promote the activity all over Taiwan is because that in those places with Falun Gong spreading more people have become healthy and raised their Xinxing [mind nature] and moral values, making the society become truly peaceful and serene."
The content of the class was focused on showing videos of Master Li's lectures. Practitioners with high achievements in all circles including professors, lawyers, doctors, managers and administrators in Buddhist organizations were invited to share their cultivation experiences. After the meeting, Dafa practitioners taught the exercises. The study class in Taiwan is a prominent example of showing the widespread of Falun Gong worldwide.
