Completely Oppose the Evil Old Forces' Arrangement

(Clearwisdom.net) "But in order to achieve everything they've wanted to, the old, evil forces in the cosmos have directly taken part in persecuting Dafa, Dafa disciples, and all beings by continuously using the evil arrangements that they contrived and that don't conform to the true Fa-principles of the cosmos." ("Dafa is Indestructible") I have enlightened that, to eradicate the evil, we must first completely oppose the evil old forces' arrangement in our minds. We cannot acknowledge it or accept it at all. We must use righteous thoughts to eliminate it. Then the old arrangement will be weakened, or broken entirely. Here, I want to talk about my understanding.

"Clearheadedly distinguish self-cultivation from evil's assault on the Fa." -- How to understand the tribulations that disciples are suffering during Fa-rectification

In "Speech by Master Li Hongzhi at the Western US Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference of Falun Dafa" Teacher said, "In the course of your cultivation, each one of you should understand correctly the relationship between your own cultivation and Fa-rectification. How should you view the trials and tribulations that you experience? I can tell you that if a person doesn't have that much karma, he absolutely won't have tribulations that severe. You should clearheadedly distinguish self-cultivation from evil's assault on the Fa." Some practitioners believe that mainland practitioners suffer severe persecution and tribulations because of excessive karma. I believe this is a wrong notion, which fits exactly the old forces' belief and arrangement.

Teacher doesn't acknowledge this evil and destructive test at all. "I can't accept any of these. So I need to eliminate them, including this evil drama." ("Master Li Hongzhi's Lecture at the Great Lakes Conference in North America") The old forces escalated the persecution with the excuse that practitioners had karma and that they needed to improve, trying to damage Dafa. If there had not been such evil arrangements, Fa-rectification would not have had such great obstacles. If it were the cultivation path arranged by Teacher, would Dafa disciples be sent to jails and labor camps to repay karma and be upgraded? It is Fa-rectification period. Practitioners participate in Fa-rectification as Dafa particles. How can it be right that the more one contributes to the Fa-rectification, the heavier persecution one has to endure? The vicious people seize, beat, and detain Dafa disciples. They do not allow the practitioners to study the Fa, do the exercises, or participate in Fa-rectification. They also use all kinds of malicious and indecent tricks to break practitioners' righteous faith in Dafa. Their ultimate purpose is to stop Fa-rectification and thus destroy all sentient beings.

Evil aggravates the persecution by taking advantage of the human attachments some practitioners have not let go, and of some practitioners' inability to use righteous thoughts to face the tribulations in Fa-rectification. But we cannot take the persecution as a practitioner's personal issue, because it opposes Dafa. Besides, a practitioner's defect cannot excuse the persecution. We cannot acknowledge, approve, or accept such test or persecution. "As far as your own cultivation goes, you've already gone through the course of cultivation. You are beings who are being established for Dafa. The last leg of your journey is your elevation to your own original and highest position." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference") Therefore, only by working hard together, supporting and helping each other, can Dafa disciples as a whole eradicate evils and resist the persecution. During the current great period of Fa-rectification, sending forth righteous thoughts aids the practitioners who are being persecuted. Our worldwide effort to expose the evil and clarify the truth has composed a magnificent Fa-rectification epic.

"A Dafa disciple completely opposes everything arranged by the evil old forces."

"All the evil people who have sinned against Dafa--those who are no longer useful in the evil, so-called 'test' of Dafa disciples--have now begun to meet with retribution for their evil. From now on, this will happen on a large scale. Those most evil ones, though, will be used until the very end, because there continue to be Dafa disciples stepping forward, and the evil old forces need to use them to test Dafa disciples. This is the reason why those most evil scoundrels are still rampantly doing evil." ("Dafa is Indestructible") How do we understand this paragraph? Deep in many practitioners' minds, they believe that the evil test and the vicious beings' violence were arranged, and that without the evil environment, Fa-rectification would end soon, leaving no more chances for Dafa disciples to step forward to clarify the truth and establish their mighty virtue. I don't think so. Evil old forces arranged all of these; Teacher did not. Teacher wants us to completely oppose everything arranged by the evil old forces. That includes stopping the most vicious people's violence, through to their last moments. That also includes eradicating the evil so as to save more people. Besides, rectifying the Fa and clarifying the truth do not have to be done in such a vicious environment. Teacher said, "If this hadn't happened, I could resolve well the problems of all beings and enable all of them to meet the standard for Consummation. But this evil-wrought tribulation has taken place." ("Master Li Hongzhi's Lecture at the Great Lakes Conference in North America") Teacher used the evil old forces' arrangement to find out the living beings' xinxing in the old universe, to place them, and to perfect Dafa disciples. Hence, in our minds, we cannot take such an evil show as the way it should be. We must completely oppose it and eliminate it.

If we Dafa disciples have reached the requirement of Fa-rectification as a whole, we will be able to eliminate all evil quicker, clarify the truth in an easier environment and save people. We are the cosmos' defenders. We are saving lives from the evils' hands. How can we approve the old forces' evil arrangement and obstruction?

"He Brings Forth Lofty Ideals While Minding Minor Details"

When I read Teacher's article "Sage" before the persecution, I thought this was talking about our Teacher who saves us compassionately. Having gone through the recent tribulations, I finally came to understand that this included every Fa-rectification disciple, who shoulders great historical responsibilities. When all divine beings in the universe watch us and innumerable living beings await us to save them, is each of our words, conducts, and thoughts qualified to be that of a Dafa disciple and a great god? This is a serious issue that we must keep thinking about.
