The annual Philadelphia Independence day parade was held on the afternoon of July 4. More than 100 practitioners from Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey and Washington DC attended. After the colorful Falun Gong procession made its appearance, there were exclamations and applause from the audience. The orderly yellow phalanx, along with Dafa music, brought grandeur and compassion to the people.
In order to accord with the happy theme of the Independence Day parade to the largest extent, two practitioners designed flyers that said, "This 4th of July, make a plea for freedom" as a link, which subtly introduced the persecution in China and called for help from kind-hearted people.
