June 26, 2001 was United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. This year, on behalf of CINAT (the Coalition of International NGOs against Torture) IRCT (International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims) initiated a global appeal, with the theme of "Together Against Torture".
Along with all the righteous people in the world, practitioners worldwide participated in this event. On the morning of June 26, more than 20 practitioners from Denmark, Sweden, and the US came to the new square in downtown Copenhagen. We showed the pictures of practitioners being persecuted in China and the banner of "Zhan-Shan-Ren." Some of us were doing the exercises and some were distributing flyers. Many people stopped to looked at the photo exhibition and read the truth-clarifying literature.
