Truth Clarifying on BBC2 Newsnight Happens Naturally

A practitioner's friend phoned to say that last night there was a human rights Olympic debate on BBC2 Newsnight, in which Falun Gong was mentioned but not represented. The friend was asking why Falun Gong was not represented on that programme by a practitioner.

Later that day, the practitioner thought BBC needed to be contacted and made a call to the programme only to be told that the programme had its own contact list and would use their own contacts if they were needed. The practitioner was not asked to leave a telephone number or name.

Two hours later this same practitioner was independently called by the programme and asked to provide an interview as a counterpoint to the statement of the Chinese ambassador. In the end, the BBC came to film the Falun Gong class in central London. They included the footage together with the truth clarifying statement by the practitioner in the programme that night.
