Be it hereby known to all that

The Senate of Maryland

offers its sincerest congratulations to

Followers of Falun Gong

in recognition of

the practice of Falun Gong, and in commemoration

of the month-long walk throughout Maryland to

Washington, D.C. to raise awareness about the two

-year persecution of Falun Gong in China.

The entire membership extends best wishes on

this memorable occasion and directs this resolution

be presented on this 18th day of July 2001
