A Moved March in Montreal

To join the movement of protests against the massive killing of Dafa practitioners in mainland China by the Chinese government, Montreal Dafa disciples organized a solemn march through the main St. Catherine Street of Montreal last Sunday July 15, 2001 during a sidewalks sale festival.

About 40 practitioners, including many Westerners, carried banners reading "Falun Dafa" and "SOS! Urgent: Rescue the Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China." They marched under the Dafa music and distributed 4000 flyers. The street was surprisingly crowded, and nearly every five or ten persons took our flyer. At a square of the main street, we stopped to give a demonstration of Dafa exercises. Passers-by looked reluctantly at our big posters revealing the tortures inflicted on Dafa practitioners in China. Many people came to ask questions, comfort us and offer wholeheartedly their signature on the petition. Many contributed new ideas too.

"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread Dafa and offer salvation to all beings with benevolence." We feel that day was quite successful.
