1. The Pure Sky After the Rain --A report from World Falun Dafa Day in Taiwan

[Minghui Net] May 13th of this year was World Falun Dafa Day, which was celebrated by millions of practitioners worldwide. This year's celebrations commemorated the ninth anniversary of the public introduction of Falun Dafa by our great, compassionate Teacher. During this special period of Fa-rectification, in order to let more people know the truth of the persecution in China, and give more people the opportunity to learn Dafa, practitioners in Taipei planned a "Campus Festival" at Taiwan University on May 13.
However, just on the eve of the festival, it was reported that a nearby typhoon would bring us a storm. Hearing the rain and the wind outside, we knew that the evil forces were incompetent, as in the expression "much thunder and little rain." As Teacher said in Speech at the Western US Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference of Falun Dafa, "No matter who assaults Dafa, it's a matter of humans battling gods, and the end result is obvious." In the face of Fa-rectification, and within the energy field of our practitioners' righteous minds, the outcome was very clear.
In the first light of morning on May 13, the dark clouds gradually dispersed. A few minutes before the festival began, sunlight broke through the dark clouds. What a pure and beautiful sky! The arch balloon with "World Falun Dafa Day and Mother's Day Campus Festival" shining in the sunlight reinforced the grandeur of the event. Surprisingly, it was also reported on the evening news, "The typhoon has mysteriously changed its direction, and the storm warning is expected to be cancelled tonight."

2. Features of "World Falun Dafa Day" in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

[Minghui Net] On the morning of May 13, Falun Gong practitioners were invited by the National Sports Association to show the five sets of exercises at the Zhongzheng Stadium in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Because of the late notice and the schedule's clash with our World Falun Dafa Day celebrations, the assistance center immediately called up all the assistants to advise practitioners to be sure and treasure every opportunity to clarify the truth.
Eventually about 470 practitioners came, which was about 70% more than had officially signed up. Practitioners came from as far away as Chiayi, Tainan, and Pingtung. Even elderly practitioners, who seldom went far from home, came to attend. Despite the recent heat wave and the forecast of a typhoon, practitioners young and old waited in orderly groups, sharing experiences while waiting to get into the stadium. It was 10:30 am when the first and second qigong groups completed their exercise demos, and the officials conducted the opening ceremony at the main entrance. While the officials came into the stadium for the rest of the activities, the other demonstrations were drawing to a close as well.
At the same time the previous group was leaving, the Falun Gong practitioners walked up unhurriedly from the other end of the stadium with the Falun Gong music "PuDu" playing. Everyone on the field suddenly became very quiet, and even the master of ceremonies seemed surprised. Along with the music and the introduction of Falun Dafa, the practitioners walked onto the site and took their places in very good order. Everyoneincluding twenty child practitioners-- wore white clothes and yellow vests. Following Teacher's instructions from the tape, Dafa practitioners gave a majestic demonstration of the five exercises, including "Buddha Showing the Thousand Hands," "Falun Standing Stance," "Penetrating the Two Cosmic Extremes," and "Falun Heavenly Circulation" exercises. Practitioners moved in perfect time, and nobody made any mistakes. Because of the time limit, each set of exercises was shown only once.
When doing exercise five, "Way of Strengthening Divine Powers," the 500 practitioners present all sat down, crossed their legs, and put their shoes to the side within just a few seconds. One of the officials was so astonished that he said, "You are so disciplined. You must have rehearsed!" "What? You didn't? Oh, no wonder Jiang Zemin is afraid of you!" Later, the master of ceremonies said: "When I was watching your performance, I wanted to go to the field to practice with you. What a pity I couldn't!"
We displayed many large Dafa pictures and distributed flyers in front of the stage. Many people were deeply moved by the greatness of Dafa, which had been displayed by the exercise demo in just 20 minutes. Teacher said: "You either agree with him or are against him. But everyone would be shaken by this Fa." When practitioners stepped out with the purest mind to become particles of Dafa, we all had this feeling. Teacher said: "Validating Dafa and exposing the evil in ordinary human society seem to resemble the work in ordinary human society. But they are not. Everyday people do everything for self-interest, whereas what we do is for safeguarding Dafa. This is what a Dafa disciple should do, and it is without any selfish elements. It is sacred, it is magnificent..." A university student, who was also a practitioner, later told his mother that he felt the 20-minute exercise demo was even more worthwhile than his regular 2-hour practice. Teacher said: "What's most extraordinary about you is that you're able to keep up with the Fa-rectification." By the end of the day, we all felt the great compassion of our teacher and the greatness of Dafa.
