Report from Geneva

On the streets of Geneva, Dafa practitioners are working tirelessly getting signatures from citizens in support of Falun Gong. Amnesty International was willing to allow practitioners to collect signatures under their name, but on behalf of Falun Gong. This is one small example of practitioners' wisdom and creativity of working within human society to provide support for Dafa, and at the same time enlisting support of another group, which benefits that group's future because they are supporting Dafa, and also provides average citizens the opportunity to know Dafa and choose their future positions.

Some practitioners knew neither that a permit is required to collect signatures in public, nor that we had the permit through Amnesty International. When some practitioners approached police to ask them to sign, the police questioned them, and they immediately stopped, in order to conform with the environment.

After learning about this later, the practitioners who are coordinating signature collection realized, in their discussion, their own shortcomings. They had not provided good instructions and the background behind the tasks that they were assigning to volunteers. We cannot just accomplish different tasks, but must do Fa-rectification as one body and share our understanding with all practitioners so that we can elevate together as Dafa particles. Practitioners realized they must continue to look inward as they work to tell the truth and spread Dafa to the world's people.

So far, practitioners have held a number of press conferences to expose the evil. Media have conducted background interviews for television shows, and individual newspapers and wire services have extensively covered the activities.

More and more practitioners continue to arrive in Geneva from all over the world. More are welcome to come, but practitioners in Geneva know that many practitioners at home are doing their part as Dafa particles, too.
