The following two stories testify how Jiang Zemin abuses his power to harm and persecute Falun Gong practitioners at will.
Words from a Child's Heart
In December 2000, my mom went to Beijing to speak out the words from the bottom of her heart: "Falun Dafa is good," "Restore the Reputation of Falun Dafa." However, as soon as she arrived at the Golden Water Bridge (in front of the rostrum of Tiananmen square), two policemen came over and questioned her: "Are you a Falun Gong practitioner?" My mom replied: "Yes!" Then, they arrested my mom immediately before she could explain further. Now, my mom is still in detention. Why is this so? My mom did not violate any laws. One should be allowed to speak when one is treated unfairly. Is this China's human rights? I am calling on the international human rights organizations to save my mom!
"Wronging the innocent saddens me"

I am a jobless person. Since I have practiced Falun Dafa in 1997, I have recovered from several diseases that could not be cured by hospitals. Such a good Dafa, I cannot even express how good Falun Gong is. I used to be very depressed since I am a single mother of two school age kids. However, Falun Dafa has improved me mentally and spiritually. I never thought that Falun Gong would be outlawed on July 22, 1999. As a result, we lost the environment of practicing the Falun Gong exercises. I felt very miserable in my heart. In November 1999, I went to Beijing to appeal with a compassionate heart, wishing to tell the government my personal experiences of Falun Gong. Why couldn't the government understand how good Falun Gong is? When I walked into Tiananmen Square, policemen came up to me and asked me whether I was a Falun Gong practitioner. I said, "Yes" because what we practice is Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Therefore, I was locked up in the Tiananmen police station for one day and in our local agency office in Beijing for two days. After I was sent back to my hometown, I was detained for 15 days and then forced to attend a "Study Class" for 8 days. During those days, I had to pay the teachers' transportation --1,700 Yuan RMB (roughly 3-4 months' income of an average worker in China). Since then, I have lost my personal freedom. In May 2000, the street committee office deceived me into believing that some officials wanted to have a talk with me. Thus, I was sent to a detention center. I was in detention for several months and suffered a great deal of torment. Moreover, the fine plus my room and board amounted to 4,000 Yuan. All of the above made it difficult for me to live, and I cannot pay back the debts I owe to others. I am an innocent, ordinary person. I have been treated so unfairly just because I practice Falun Gong. Master Li requires us to be a good person anytime, yet it is so difficult to be a good person. Please think about it, government leaders: wronging an innocent person has caused so much pain in her heart. We Falun Dafa practitioners call on all leaders of the countries in the world as well as the Chinese government to give us, Falun Dafa practitioners, freedom of personal life and freedom of beliefs. (I was able to read after I studied Zhuan Falun. It was Master Li who gave me literacy.)
