1. [China] The Truth of Dafa Shakes the Whole Market
The second day of the month is a busy day at the market, and at the beginning of October 2001, several practitioners decided to seize the good opportunity to clarify the truth of Dafa to people. So we went to work as soon as night fell. The town was in the center, and on the outskirts there were four villages and a trail leading to another two villages. We distributed Dafa fliers door to door at the outlying villages, and then we put up colorful Dafa posters and banners on walls, telephone poles and trees. After completing the work in the villages, we joined together to work in the town and the market center, posting Dafa posters and literature all over the town. We sent forth righteous thoughts while we did the work. We kept busy for the whole night and distributed thousands of fliers and hung up hundreds of banners. Under the protection of Teacher we successfully completed our work and went back home safely.
The next day, upon opening, the whole market was shaken. The people who arrived early read the materials and then told others, and soon the news spread inside and outside the town. Many people who did not originally intend to come to shop came one by one to look. For several days afterwards, Falun Dafa was the focus of conversations around town.
This action awoke many kindhearted people from delusion and assisted Teacher in saving people and suffocating the evil. At the same time, we really felt the urgency of clarifying the truth to the Chinese people. The Teacher says, "Actually everyone is waiting for the Fa." 2. [China] Luo Gan Heaps Crimes on Top of Crimes
Recently, police departments in China held a series of meetings with the slogan of "attack the criminals severely in the winter." Luo Gan, who is the head of the Politics and Law Committee and one of the chief architects of the persecution campaign against Falun Dafa, demanded that the police departments step up their persecution of Falun Gong, and thereby added another chapter to his record of crimes.
After these meetings, the relatives of Dafa practitioners who had this information told them to be careful and said, "What does 'attack severely' mean? That means a new wave of arrests, sentences, and murders."
Dafa practitioners in Mainland China, please be careful and eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts.
3. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Several Practitioners Recently Arrested
On December 3, several Dafa practitioners' houses were ransacked, and they were illegally sent to a detention center. They still have not been released.
4. [Beijing] Practitioners Please Be Careful
Clearwisdom reported on November 25 that more than ten Beijing practitioners were arrested. These practitioners were arrested because someone had requested "the people who are in charge of materials come together to exchange ideas and have dinner." As a result, all practitioners present were arrested, and a great deal of equipment and literature were confiscated. Clearwisdom has reported a number of incidents of unscrupulous policemen utilizing such means to trap Dafa practitioners.
The "610 office" (the "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) recently launched a 70-day campaign to illegally arrest practitioners and met with little success. Thus a new plan was hatched. They have hired a large number of personnel to trace and monitor the practitioners who are at home and the relatives of those practitioners who have left home to avoid persecution. The goal is to arrest those practitioners who have left home. Beijing practitioners, please be careful and watch for your safety.
5. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Alert to Local Falun Dafa Practitioners
Police substations and community offices in Linghe District have recently started visiting Dafa practitioners' homes to harass them by demanding that their pictures be posted on the Internet along with their "statements of guarantee" to renounce Falun Gong.
In some cases, personnel from the community offices knock on the door while police officers stay behind. As soon as the door opens, all of them force their way into the room. We warn practitioners in Jinzhou area to be prepared and at the same time send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil behind this initiative.
6. [Shanghai] Pay Attention to the Fates of Falun Dafa Practitioners Sun Yingjie and Lin Ying
Around the time when the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders Meeting was concluded, the Shanghai Public Security Bureau arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Sun Yingjie and her daughter Lin Ying. They were illegally held in a detention center in suburban Shanghai. It has been over a month so far, and their situation is still unknown. Both mother and daughter are from northeastern China, and were working odd jobs in Shanghai where they have no relatives or friends. We ask the world to pay close attention to how the Shanghai Public Security Bureau handles this case and to the safety of this mother and daughter.

7. [China] Heartfelt Words from a Private Citizen
Recently, I went out to distribute flyers that clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. On my way home, I stopped at my cousin's home to clarify the truth. Some guests happened to be at the table having a meal, and I was invited to join them. When I was served liquor, I told them, "I'm a Falun Dafa practitioner, and I don't drink." Right away, a guest said loudly, "All Falun Gong practitioners are good people. There is a lady near where we live who practices Falun Gong. The police fined her 20,000 RMB Yuan (The average salary for urban workers is about 500 Yuan per month) simply for her insisting on being a good person and practicing Falun Dafa. There is nowhere you can file an appeal. It's said that Luo Gan in the Party Central Committee is most devious. Even the self-immolation in Beijing was fabricated. How could you believe the news on TV? They lie right before your eyes."
8. [China] Police Brutality Enrages Ordinary Citizens
I was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to several villagers while helping others with the fall harvest. I told them that Falun Dafa practitioners' going to Beijing to appeal helps show people the difference between good and evil. When I told them about the 18 female practitioners being illegally held at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, how they were forcibly thrown into the cells of male inmates, and how the police treated female practitioners indecently, these villagers said angrily, "These police officers have completely lost their human nature. They are doomed for sure."
9. [Qu County, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Deng Haibo Kidnapped by the Police
On November 29 the police kidnapped Falun Dafa practitioner Deng Haibo from Qinglong Township. His current whereabouts are unknown.
10. [Beijing] Exposing Police Brutality in Qingtai Police Station in Fengtai District
On November 28, three Falun Dafa practitioners from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. Two of them were illegally arrested and sent to Qingtai Police Station in Fengtai District. The vicious police officers beat these two practitioners who are over 50 years old without any self-restraint. One of the practitioners lost control of his bowels and threw up blood. His body was covered with bruises. The next day, the police used electric batons to shock him for over an hour and viciously beat him with spiked clubs.
11. [Hegan City, Heilongjiang Province] Criminal Record of the Xing'an Police Station and Junde Police Substation of Xing'an District
The police officers at Xing'an Police Station and Junde Police Substation of Xing'an District in Hegan City, Heilongjiang Province are actively engaged in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Since July 22, 1999, they have arrested several Dafa practitioners, persecuting them in various ways such as verbal abuse, beatings, brainwashing, and forced labor. On August 6, 2001, the police arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Wang Guanglu, Fu Detian, Zhao Shuling, Yang Xiaohong, and Wang Shuxia. These practitioners are still being held at the No.2 Detention Center of Hegan City. Also, Falun Dafa practitioner Di Huibin has been forced to leave home to avoid persecution. We hereby issue a warning to those who are helping the evil: Stop what you are doing right away, and don't take the issue of your own futures lightly!

At about 4:00 p.m. on December 6, a group of students led by several female teachers came to the residential district of Harbin Normal University. They entered each building with small iron shovels and steel rulers. We have learned that they are the students from the 4 classes in 10th grade of No.32 High School. Their teachers demanded that they remove the Falun Gong truth-clarifying posters and some advertisements in the residential buildings under the pretense that they had volunteered to help clean up the city. I saw a female teacher taking a Dafa truth-clarifying sticker, and asking the students everywhere if they had seen it. Another two teachers were in charge of inspections. It is very urgent to clarify the truth and disclose the evil to the students through various means. We can't just watch these innocent students being deceived by the vicious lies. Meanwhile, we should also stop the education system from continuing to spread the vicious fabrications to the students and commit sins against Dafa by using the students.
13. [Gaoyang City, Hebei Province] Disclosing the Criminal Acts of Gaoyang Labor Camp
Between July and October of this year, a brainwashing class was held in the female squadron of Team 5 in Gaoyang Labor Camp in Hebei Province. The police physically abused Dafa practitioners the entire day, forcing them to stand or sit for long periods of time. Although the time between midnight and 5:00 a.m. in the labor camp is scheduled for rest, the guards always use various excuses to interfere with the practitioners during this time. In reality, their rest time usually lasts less than 4 hours. Due to the long-term detention, these Dafa practitioners had rashes all over their bodies, causing the skin to become red, swollen, and extremely itchy. In November, the practitioners realized that they should not cooperate with evil, so they held a group hunger strike to demand their unconditional release. Thirteen days later, they were sent to the hospital. After leaving the hospital, the guards continued to beat up Dafa practitioners. Among them, 44-year-old Dafa practitioner Cheng Guijun could no longer stand up due to the beatings.

14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Perpetrators Ambush and Arrest Dafa Practitioners
At about 5:00 p.m. on December 6, 2001, police lying in ambush arrested Dafa practitioner Bai Yufeng because she tore down slogans slandering Falun Dafa. She was sent to Changjiu Road Police Station in Chaoyang District, while her three-month-old daughter was left at home.
In addition, a sign slandering Dafa was placed on Changjiu Road in Chaoyang District in Changchun City, and police are lying in wait for practitioners at this site.
Posting slogans slandering Dafa is another contemptible means the persecutors of Dafa in Changchun have devised for ambushing and arresting practitioners. We hope Dafa practitioners in Changchun will collectively send forth righteous thoughts to eradicate the evil force behind these actions. Let's use reason and wisdom to destroy materials slandering Dafa.

15. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Exposing the Criminal Deeds of the Fangqiang Forced Labor Camp Ji Hua is Team 2 Director in Fangqiang Forced Labor Camp of Jiangsu Province, and . Yu Haiyong is the Team 2 Secretary. Since the end of this June, Team 2 officials have used various contemptible means, including denying practitioners sleep and shocking them repeatedly with electric batons, in their attempts to brainwash the 200 detained practitioners. These two vicious officials mentioned above are the ones primarily responsible for this ongoing torture.
